I'd love one of these.......superb build quality, built to last - they may be plain for some tastes but I could live with it!! Steve
Great video. I would say they are like marmite, love/hate. I nearly bought one, the low spec put me off. The build quality is amazing, something many manufacturers could learn from.
I think they look quite smart inside. We are a fan of minimilism :)
@@heyholetstow I'm into luxury spec, but I am getting bored of my S5 & the dreded front blinds. I nearly changed it last year. See what happens.
So Mrs Hey Ho when are you upgrading

@@heyholetstow go on I dare you
Horrible caravans, I really don’t like Adria’s. Think you might have to upgrade your tow car if you were to get one.
@@shinkins6702 we certainly would, a lot heavier than what we can tow. Don’t like them? Build or styling?
@@heyholetstow I dont like the styling, too ikea for me, dont get me wrong, I like ikea and have ikea stuff at home, just dont want it in the caravan. I dont like the 3 burner cooker and integrated sink. I’m not keen on the outside styling of them either. They just dont do it for me, but everyone is different which makes things interesting. You dont over like the blue inside your discovery, whereas we love the blue inside our caravan (not a discovery)
@@shinkins6702 yep, lots of different tastes out there. Though we have come to embrace the blue a bit 😀
Named after rivers I guess. Lovely spacious caravans

@@lynnhirst1 thank you! If we could afford one and had a bigger tow car we would get one tomorrow! 😀
Looks like the next investment will be a bigger tow car then.😊
@@andrewtreweek254 yea. Bigger tow car, and a bigger caravan. Groan… 😂
Thanks for sharing your video, love the kitchen setup, three burners with the space in front of them, and the way the burners are set in a channel that flows into the sink, so if anything boils over it’s easy to clean away, 👍👍.
@@busterboy7505 yep. Much better design.

@@paulhill4457 yea. Quality,
@@heyholetstow And also the flap extension in kitchen, there is no space for radio you use the Adria Media controller which we love and you can put your tv through it as well, making surround sound sounds lovely. oh check out the front locker acres of space for essential tools etc

@@heyholetstow Over the years we have done Swift, Bailey & Lunar models would be impossible to go back to one of theirs ,
Thanks for the look around. Got admit, I’m an Adria fan too! We’ve got a 2005 Adora and would love to upgrade to a new one. Fingers crossed for a lottery win 😂 Adria’s are named after rivers. So the Altea range are named after British rivers (Avon, Tyne and Dart at the moment), the Adora after European ones (there’s the Sava on top of what you’ve seen), and then the top of the range Alpina are named after American rivers (Mississippi and Colorado). The Action misses out on names and it’s 2 models just have numbers.

I wonder what the best time of year is to have the service? We have ours done in August, primarily as it is the anniversary of buying it. The appointments are easy to get as everyone is either using their van, just about to, or have just come back! There is always a high pressure for appointments early or before the season. I think I would choose August anyway! We are never away in August as we avoid school hols etc. So is good for us.
@@davidlewins4631 we had to have our done now due to it being a year since we bought it, though it would be good to choose the month
battery test tick. got one . battery compartment tick .got one.(loose connections) !!!!! dont matter . could just set caravan on fire.

Hi, when shutting the caravan down, always turn off the heating and hot water first then switch the truma panel off by pressing the button in THEN switch off the main master switch. Hope this helps
I have been advised by a caravan engineer not to use the quick release connectors the do not make proper contact, told to get the proper battery connectors, hope this helps. Great videos.
@@robertpoulter8220 yea, they seem a bit rubbish, especially on the under floor Bailey batteries
Have you not got a mechanic on site to do servicing? that is so much easier, as for power loss doesn't your solar panel keep battery charged. How much did Wanda charge for service?
@@paulhill4457 the service is doing at the same site as our storage, and they move it to the workshop, which helps. We don’t have a Solar panel on this caravan. The service was just shy of £300. Thanks for watching 😀
Hay Ho Hello, thanks for sharing your video, maybe your battery is not fully charged because of those battery connections are loose ?, there are a few vloggers who have done a video on fitting a solar panel to their own caravan, that could be worth checking out, 👍👍.
@@busterboy7505 you could be right. Need a solid connection but something I can easily unclip when I need to remove the battery
@@heyholetstow solar panel Is the answer we have tracker and the voltage has never dipped below 12.5 volts Battery in the caravan was always a bad idea from Bailey one of the reasons we changed brand, as for £300 for a service of a caravan of your size that is seriously expensive, you need to get some quotes from elsewhere my tugging friend.

I am confused as you suggest that a 99p spirit level is the same as E&P self levelling. One measures whether the van is the level, the other levels the caravan for you. I assume you are having a joke?
@@colinbennett3433 yes, there was an element of tongue in cheek when we said that 😀
I have one of those fridge control protectors to give away at Rob and Lynns charity meet. A gift from someone I have done some 3d printing for. Can you let me know the model of fridge you have please? Spend £1000's on levelling system E and P! 🤣. Thanks, Andy and Kim.
@@tanksontour I will have a look at the model. 😀
Loving the posh pot at the start! and I totally get where you're coming from with the USB sockets, although our caravan has mysteriously got three sockets on the lights (supposed to have two) so that's just enough for us. And yes, I'd much rather pay a few pennies for a spirit level than thousands on ENP (which you can't use in certain situations, anyway, plus wakens the neighbours up with all the beeping if setting up late at night). PLUS, if we had ENP on our Discoveries, that would be most of (if not all) our payload gone!
Yea, ours had 2. Was going to get the dealer to fit a new one but they wanted to charge £100 or something. Silly.

Teflon!! 🏴☠
@@cedriccottage2070 is Teflon dangerous? Just checking on the internet and they say modern Teflon is fine. Is it supposed to be bad?
@@heyholetstow Unfortunately yes. There is a lot of coverups, but if you'll deep dive into reputable scientific studies, you won't touch another forever chemical again. Not for your sake, not for your grand children, not for generations to come... We loved our kitchen gadgets but were notified of this issue, did the research and gave them all away and replaced what was available with stainless steel, glass and other lifeonearth-friendly alternatives (avoid also the "ceramic" and similar coatings, all coatings are scam, only solid ceramic, stone etc are good). Btw, we found really good mini-oven airfryer in Lidl with all stainless steel accessories and it's far better than any other airfryers we had in the past. Best of luck and please share if you'll come across any handy gadgets free of forever chemicals.

Hi Guys That many gadgets these days!! I once tho forgot my spirit level so when we got unhitched on our pitch I got a glass of water filled about an inch below the top and levelled caravan that way.
