Yay fixed it! Drained all the water out and saw bits of handles from a spoon or knife stuck in the impeller outlet. We don't have many with those handles as they were breaking and replaced them, will just need to wash those by hand. Bit of a pain getting that white plastic guard off and on though.
@@marksapollo Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear you fixed it by yourself. It definitely pays off to be patient and take the initiative to solve problems, not to mention the money you save in the process. That white plastic guard can be a bit tricky, but it sounds like you handled it well. Thanks for your feedback!👍🤝😎
Need to take my dishwasher out later to check these things as I have this problem currently.
Thanks!!
@@bonnonon you're welcome 😎👍
Big clump of fibres blocking my sink drain. This video saved me $$$ thank you!
@@findingthereal9052 sweet! Appreciate your positive feedback 🫡👍
beautiful family bro
@ora_et_labora1095 🫠 thank you 💯
I followed this and then stuck my shop vac on the drain end of the hose.... slurp something came through! Thanks so much for recording this Tomi!
@@get2zero nicely done! You're welcome 🫡😎
You rock! Saved me a $200 repair visit. Had the same problem. Thank you thank you!!
@euripidesghost8834 hey that's good to hear 😁 I'm glad to have been helpful to you. Appreciate your time to write back this comment 🤝👍 cheers!
Thank you for your clear instructions. My husband found the problem and after clearing, it drained perfectly. Funny enough, the culprit was a small piece of glass at the hose connection point.
@sarahhu7648 thanks Sarah, 🙂..yeap the mysterious things happen in dishwasher 😁. Cheers to successful repair 🍻👍
Hi I have the same electornic air filter and want to change like this , can you post me the exact size and the make,
@ThusiraD so here is the affiliate link it will show you actual sizes in the link below. There are 5 filters in the box. amzn.to/46bih4j The model # is FC100A1029 Actual filter size: 15-15/16" x 24-7/8" x 4-3/8" Again there are many different filters that are cheaper too. So you can get this or use it as a reference for sourcing one out. 😊. Good luck 😎👍
I built one of these e-bikes with the 36v, 250 watt side motor this weekend. It was frustrating but I got it done. The bracket is a one size fits nothing. I had to reorientate the Motor bracket assembly and could only use one clamp because the two bracket clamp points were too far off from the frame tubes. I used a 40v 6aH Ryobi battery with a Power Wheels battery slot adapter. My area has a lot of hills and my range was just maybe three miles ( half up, half back down). I added a seat in the back for my son or daughter to sit (8&10). So total weight me a a kid ~ 260 pounds and the 26” fold up bike with motor and battery, it’s a heavy rig, lol. It took some finessing to get the chain aligned and proper tension, but in the end was dependable. I’m going to swap out the thumb control for a twist grip and I have a few 40v Ryobi batteries so I can extend the range by carrying a spare battery or two. I’m doing my wife and kids bikes next but using wheel rim assembly brushless motor kit, much more straight forward and I hear more efficient.
@geneandrew1269 Wow, it sounds like you've been busy! There is nothing like some weekend frustration to make the final product that much sweeter, right? 😂 Kudos for the ingenuity with the Ryobi battery and Power Wheels adapter! Just a heads up: make sure that whatever controller/motor you select is a compatible 40-volt battery. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the family's e-bike adventures! 🚴♂️ brushes motors are definitely better. You just need to make sure your controller is designed for a brushless motor. (3 wiers to motor). Thank you for sharing your experience and ideas, A+ 🙂👍
My 22 year old Honeywell electronic air cleaner apparently failed recently as the small indicator light no longer will light up. I noticed the unit not working after I cleaned the 2 cells in the dishwasher like I have done twice a year since the unit was new. However, I did not verify that the EAC was indeed working BEFORE I removed the cells prior to cleaning. So I don't know if it was working before I cleaned the cells. The clean cells were returned to the unit only to learn that the EAC would not turn on. I thought I might have a broken wire but that proved false. Basically I figured the EAC was shot after 22 years and decided to replace the EAC with disposable paper filters since a new Honeywell replacement unit would be over $1,000 plus labor costs to install. I got Honeywell replacement paper filters on Amazon that fit the old unit perfectly. I figured I saved my self over a $1,000 and the twice a year cleaning of the old unit. I am very happy I found this video on KZread. Many thanks to the person posting it.
@paulmeyer1065 Glad to hear my video was helpful to you! It's always great to find a more budget-friendly solution. Just a quick tip: be sure to flip the power switch on the electronic cleaner to the off position, and maybe even tape it off. If it gets energized for any reason, it could potentially start a fire, especially if it gets wet. Stay safe and happy filtering! 😊🤝👍
Thank you, I would have never known about the guard. That was my problem.
@mankev9255 great it's less common problem but it happens 😁 I'm glad it worked out favorably for you. Thank you for commenting 😎👍
Was the exact problem, thank you for the video
@@PD-yd3fr I'm glad to have been part of your situation to a problem 😊. Thanks for writing back! 😎👍
my sprocket is wobbling is this a good thing
@YylerHdhd hi there it's never good if things wobble. Was sprocket bent, or is it just sitting uneven on the spokes? Some wobble is acceptable... you can run in a problem with a chain falling off if there is too much play. 🫡
Not Much Play with the Wobble Anymore just A Slight Wobble on the left thanks for asking. I Started Counterclockwise. There is Also No Bend It's Straight.
@YylerHdhd cool, hopefully it works for you good. My only one time I need to re tension chain. Still, both bikes work great. 👍
Yes I'm hoping to overvolt my 350w motor only getting 17mph
@YylerHdhd I don't think you will have issues with it. Just keep an eye on the temperature of the motor. Make sure you don't overheat motor windings.
Sir! Your fabulous tutorial was EXACTLY what I did to just fix my dishwasher. THanks so much!
You're welcome 😁 Thanos for writing back! Cheers to success 👍
Exactly my problem, easily solved. Thanks!
A bandaid works to. Just stick and pull it out
Thank you for your detailed explanation, it was great. I have had other blockages in the drain where there was a one-way valve inside of the drain tube and that got clogged up so like you were saying, the drain tube narrows, but sometimes inside of the drain tube there is a duck bill one way valve that opens when draining, but then seals itself up and it causes a blockage. This time, it was a plastic round sticker that was about the size of a dime. Thanks again for your great video and your stationary camera work.
Hi Tom, Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. It definitely helps me out! 😊 Discovering the restriction in the check valve is a great find 😁. I'm glad you used this video as a starting point and took it to the next level. 👍 Have a great weekend! Cheers, 🍻
WOW!!! Thank you SO much for this. You have made my wife very happy! For me, it was a small object, like a broken, half donut shape piece of black plastic that got stuck under the tab you took out (which I would never have known about or how to remove) and seizing the pump from moving (3:19 in your video). At first I thought it might be part of the dishwasher, but it's probably a small plastic piece of a water bottle being washed and got lodged in there. Anyway, cleared that out, put back together and working like new again. All in 15 minutes flat!! Thank you thank you for doing this video! :)
You're very welcome! 😀 I'm thrilled to hear that the video helped you fix the issue and made your wife happy. It's amazing how such a small piece of plastic can cause so much trouble, isn't it? Kudos to you for tackling the repair and getting everything working again in just 15 minutes! Thanks for sharing your experience - it's comments like yours that make making these videos worthwhile. Cheers! 😊👍
When did inanimate objects become "guys"?
Ha, yep! That's just how us non-native English speakers roll. Sometimes our parts get a bit too personal! 😄
love this, but what if you have disc brakes?
Unfortunately, it would not work well. You could try to attach the sprocket to the disk break, and you would need to change to the rim brak system at the back wheel. I would recommend you try to find a more suitable kit for your bike.🫤😎
Wow, the auto-drain idea itself was worth the price of the video and more. You are a champion.
Thanks Dr.Eric, I'm always thinking how far do I go with providing information in the video 😅. It's encouraging to hear that auto drain part of info was useful for you 🙂👍.
Electronic filter cleaner should always work, makes no sense to use filter only
I do agree with you that it's always the best to use them the way they have been designed. However, sometimes people dont want to wash the cells or they lose or break pre filters / cells, and or the module becomes defective. ( people do all kinds of crazy things) 🙂 This is just an alternative for people to use 👍 until they fix it
You saved the day here. Happy wife, happy life. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Yeap, but remember happy spouse happy house 😉👍
You sure saved me a bunch of money. Thanks!!!
Hi Josh, you're welcome 😊.
Found another solution for E24 after trying all the suggestions on this video. The door wasn't closing easily. Found the middle drawer was not receding completely. There's a flap at the back of the middle drawer that needs to be lifted for the drawer to close completely. When this is done the water starts flowing and the dishwasher works.
Thanks Robert that's good information. Sometimes, you can have multiple problems, and only one code may be displayed. I appreciate you taking time and helping out in the community. Have a fantastic weekend 🫡🤝👍
That was really helpful... thanks a million ❤
You're welcome 😊 have a happy maintenance 😉 cheers!
Hello sir can your ebike reverse?😊😅
No it can't
This was very helpful!! I had a piece of bone stuck at the drain impeller. so good!
I'm glad this video was helpful 😎👍
Thanks!
You're welcome 😊🫡
Found a piece of plastic that was lodged in the impeller blade preventing it from spinning. Removed, and working like it should. Thanks much for your help.
That's fantastic.. only hand full of people had this problem in the comments. Thanks for feedback 🤝👍
Thank you! This saved us a call to the appliance repair person.
That's good 😁. I'm glad to have been helpful 😎👍
Absolutely worked! Thanks
Fantastic 😁 a good way of finishing weekend 😎👍 Problem fixed 😅
Bro your vid really saved my day! Wife was so upset because it kept doing this E-24 even after cleaning the filter. I had no idea the little turbine in the drain could be accessed that easily! Turns out, mine had hair wrapped around it! Simple fix! Thanks!
You're welcome David! I'm glad it was easy fix 😎👍
I did all of these and poured very hot water into the dishwater very carefully and thanks very much for your video as I didn't need another plumber!! Thanks so much !!
You're welcome John 😊 I'm glad you saved some money on a service call 😁😎👍
Thanks, worked for me! Much appreciated the time you took to make this video, cheers.
Yes, and thank you for taking time to comment 🫡 this helps me out too 😎👍
Thanks for the video! Fixing to get under the sink 😂
Cheers 🍻 to success 😁
Thank you! Had the exact same issue.
Appreciate you taking time to write ✌️👍
So if we switch it we keep that switch off always?
Absolutely brilliant video!!
Mine was making a buzzing noise, when I switched the filter, and this helped ! Thank you!
What is the part name/ number of the white plastic guard that you removed to see the pump motor? Mine is cracked and I need to replace.
Drain pump cover is the white plastic.. the gray one is main pump cover.. sorry for later reply.. missed your comment 😞👍
@tomiyourtradesguy6708 is there any other covers to inspect? This was clear for me, nothing under the sink too. What is this air gap people talk about?
@bradmcdarma671 Hello Brad, so not all diswashers will have air gap installed. My in Canada does not. Here is a link that illustrate how it works and what to look for. images.app.goo.gl/p7xUrsRWWpxPTzZNA hopefully you can open this link. If you have one you would pop of the cover by the sink and check for obstruction under air gaps cap.
I really appreciate this. Thank you so much

Hello dear sir I love there so it's gorgeous Norman Wray. Respect 😊😊
Thanks Norman 😃 I'm glad you found my video useful 🫡👍
Hello, this post is really useful, thank you very much. I want to ask something. I did this check and there was nothing blocking it. It still gives E24 error. I have two questions for you; How can I tell if there is a pump failure? My machine's drain hose is a bit far and long. Could this be a problem for the drain? Thanks in advance.
