  Iraq is a nation not an ethnicity. The Persians were everywhere around there. I had some friends from Iran and they were quite pale with dark hair and eyes. The Caucaus mountains are where Caucasians (white people) came from. If you read about all the empires that waltzed through Iraq, I am surprised that you didn't have some other heritage (like some European/Mediterranean blood).

  You are not white you are "Mediterranean race" google it. This people born in Levant region and spread this sperm everywher. Like Anatolian Neolithic farmer people settled half of Europe and left their Mediterranean DNA in 50% of the population. Other Mediterranean people are Iranian neolithic farmer went to South Asia and settled in the northern part left their 50% mediterranean DNA. The last Mediterranean group people are Natufian neolithic farmers who settled the Arabian gulf. The last major migration of Mediterranean DNA was to South America where it mixed with the locals. So Arab is a culture and your race is MEDITERRANEAN! Be proud of your beautiful race and dont mix with strangers. Peace ❤

  My DNA is 96 % Middle East (Lebanon, Israel/palestine, Egypt, Iraq and Syria) and I look whiter than you! I can pass as English or Irish. My eyes are blue. I have relatives with red hair. People think I am of British descent all the time. I am super pale. It is a lie middle eastern people are all tan with dark features.

  Many Iraqis are only culturally and religiously Arabs. But genetically they are not. The people are close to original Arabs are in Yemen. Many the so called Arabs are actually Turks migrating to the area from Ottoman invasion.

  Before the Ottoman Empire, there was already an Arab invasion in the region. The Ottoman Empire also established a boundary, preventing mass mixing of Turks and Arabs.

  @@Awalanchee a few people have Turki family name. In Arabic, it indicates someone having Turkish ancestry. Otherwise, most Iraqi have same genetic makeup like Iranians.

  You seem to have a great outlook. You obviously have to disregard what a lot of people say, or at least a lot of what some people say, or a lot of what most people say, or maybe a little of what most people say? None of us are perfect. Some of us make an effort, though. These comments are pretty interesting either way. 🙂 So here's the very overly simplified version... "White" is a strange descriptor for people... Scandinavians, British, French, Italians, and Russians all get called "white", but they are obviously Scandinavian, British, French, Italian/Mediterranean, and slavic. America is more of a melting pot, of course. But then again some of my ancestors have been in America for 8 generations and I'm still almost 60% "British and Irish" (London, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, a bit of Scandinavian) and 38% "French and German" (which is almost all Swiss-German), plus a bit of peninsular Arab (that one surprised me), North African, Spanish, and native American. I'm guessing the Arab and North African came through the Spanish heritage. But that's more than enough about me. The ancient Hittite civilization was in Turkey. I believe these were essentially the Kurds. In both cases, these were and are Indo-European people. The Gaelic people who migrated across Europe creating Celtic culture came from Anatolia (Turkey). (!) The Germanic (corded ware) people came from the Yamnaya (and Scythians) from the Pontic steppe (Ukraine) and central Eurasian steppe. The Yamnaya split into the Scythians, who created a distributed empire from Europe to China, and also south across the Iranian plateau, Afghanistan, and into northern (Vedic) India. These are all Indo-European cultures. The same people (at least some of the same people) were the ancestors of both the Persians and the Europeans. The Iranians are not European (how could they be, they were never in Europe) and the Europeans are not Iranians, but we sprang from a common source. My Y haplotype R1a* is extremely common in Iran. The Caucasus is between Turkey and Ukraine... these were closely related people, some of whom migrated through the Caucasus, with some regional differences that developed with time, separation, and occasional contact with other groups of people. Your nose was a pretty typical Levantine nose. :-) The Levantine (Canaanite) people, like the Lebanese, were not Arab at all until the Arab expansion. I wouldn't say they were "white", but the ancient Canaanite people were relatively light skinned. I think this is all fascinating.

  Kurdstanis/Persians/talysh are iranic groups ergo Iranian not indian.. the Kurds they are literally the most important stage of iranic(Iranian ) genetic history. 😅😅 And lets not forget there are almost 25 million Kurdistanis in Turkey.. no wonder Turkey came up 3.5 millioner Kurds in Syria 😅 North Iraq also Officially called Kurdistan region(has 6.5 million Kurds)

  My mom is Kurd from Iran. Why do you keep saying India. We are a Iranic Peoples, that came from ancient Iranian tribes, and our language is Indo European Iranian language. The ancient medes of Iran were Kurds. It doesn't matter if you're Kurd from Turkey, Syria, Iraq, you're a Iranian peoples ethnicity.
