I bought a Turbo Vado SL5 EQ earlier this year (2024). Massive success, and I still get the exercise, but without the strain. I wondered how the gears would be, but needn't have worried. For me, they are at least as good as Deore. The integration of the motor is amazingly smooth, and I find the slight motor noise reassuring; people walking ahead seldom pick up on it. I can't detect any motor drag. I use the gears much more often than I used to, as grinding along greatly reduces the assistance you get. This is something you perfect withi n minutes.
I clean mine if I've been through muddy puddles. I like to keep it clean because then it will last a long time. 😊

25 km is too slow ..i hsve a scooter that does 33 top ....Thats the ideal speed .

I've been riding E-twow for 6+ years. Love it to bits, but the lack of waterproofing and price is stopping me from buying another one. This would be a potential alternative but no way I'm dealing with air pressure monitoring and punctures. I wish there was a solid tyre option!

Where i am from (Hull) the police stopped caring, too many people ride them in the city now and its too difficult to police, plus i like to have some fun rides out late at night or early in the morning so for the most part i never really see them lol
Superb and in depth video! Helped me a lot dealing with the fron tire replacement. Took me about an hour to replace it with a run-flat one, and assemble it back.

Thanks for the tutorial. If this is your first time changing tire, trust me, it will be hard :) I followed the steps and it went just right. But I have changed tires and tubes many times on other vehicles so I knew what to expect. Take your time. Use the pliers! And it will be okay. Use some soap to make the de/installation easier. Also, don't forget to apply some sealant between the motor and the rim itself. A little bit of silicone is okay. Clean the old adhesive/sealant.

It did that to me and I just put the nut back on and with some persuasion it came out no bother, I thought I had broken it too don’t worry it’s not goosed
I've been riding and doing video's with the turbo Vado SL for 3 years 😊 awesome bike still no problems , the battery is still at 100% health, if i ever wear it out I'll definitely get another

Bonjour, ça fait maintenant 7 mois que je l'utilise et je l'adore. Confortable, solide, agréable et esthétique. Par contre, les trottinettes pure n'ayant pas d'amortisseurs, la plateforme se met à grincer par moment mais cela n'enlève rien à sa solidité. Toutefois, l'autonomie maximale n'est pas aussi conséquente que celle annoncée. Enfin, le service client de pure est difficilement joignable : seulement joignable par mail, avec des délais de réponses beaucoup trop longs (en moyenne 1 à 2 semaines). Je ne regrette pas (encore?) mon choix.

Don't try to do this if you don't have proper, metal tire mounting / unmounting equipment, I managed to do all this, remove old tire, breaking the inflation tube during the process, and only managed to try and mount it back on, destroying new inflation tube again. Decided to go to a professional, spent 50PLN on mounting and 30 on new tube, way better than going through all this pain myself. Anyway, very nice video tutorial, thank you :)
