    As far as I know, the meteor was never later called the rover meteor. It was always rolls royce. It only says that on wikipedia and nowhere else.

    The jet blower and plate compactor were cool. The rest just sounded like various engines that would pretty much sound the same with an actual exhaust system connected.

    Some of these cars look Absolutely crazy. I don't think I could drive them. The brutus looks as mad as a bag of ferrets. It's the thin wire wheels that get me not enough rubber on the road. Most of these cars would pass health and safety and the polution emissions would be off the scale ! .

    As a Tad and Taid, I know petrol has to go eventually, for them and their peers, but what enormous fun it has been, I hope that just as with steam engines, we manage to keep a few going to show the generations to come how innovative and creative the age of internal combustion was/is.

    The Fiat S76 does not have an airplane engine, it was made for the car. It was a double scaled version of one of Fiat's 14.2L inline 4 engines used in the s74
