Just looked at my MX4 and my bracket is way different. It has two allen key bolts up top and two more down low. All eith lock washers. Maybe they improved this with newer models?

What tires do you use? I just got my Pro SS 2.0 and riding it on the IL/IA tracks, it's a pain putting the power the the ground with the stock tires.

Great content as usual. I have the ultra bee and just installed a torp tc1000. Im on factory battery but can pull 19.5kw. I set up S as all in and D with 15kw. Huge difference. Im just saving for a larger battery atm but it would transform your bike like it did mine. Then it will be holeshots all day.....

Dude if you are riding in that type of stuff you need full wrap hand guards instead of those janky roost deflectors. Full wraps are confidence inspiring, and it is only a matter of time until you break a lever and/or finger running without them.

I actually came to see EIB's channel to see what kind of hand guards he's using on his Ultra Bee! I agree, I am used to the wraps .. probably cut down handlebars a bit and install some wraps. I am nowhere as good as EIB, but when I dump the bike, I find having the full handlebar wraps make it a much better place to pick up the bike. any suggestions for hand wraps? I don't care for any plastic on them, just some good aluminum bars!

@@KNKLHEAD I got some cheap universal JFG Racing handguards from Amazon. They don't fit the best and I had to put a metal sleeve on the inside bar mounts but they work for now. Thursday I am going to the bike shop and will see if they have anything better.

7.20.24 How did that gasser beat you on the start? Where and what was this event called? Were you running wide open on that flat dusty sandy area?

Probably because gasser has a bit more power but due to gear shifting he was slower at the beginning. But adding an upgraded controller would probably change that

Typically the AM race is c class and 1.5 hrs and the b/a race is 2 hours. At least up here in New england. Think it'll make a 2 hour race?

With a C rider like me yes. I have an Ultra Bee with an upgraded battery (6.1kWh)and do the NETRA races. Lowest I've gone down to is 26% after 2 hours, 3 laps. I'm running twice the stock power though, x-ring chain and gummy tubliss 18/21 wheels. For a B+ rider, I'd get the even bigger 90V 6.6kWh battery and run a roller chain then that's probably ok for 4-5 speedy laps. Or get a spare stock battery and swap in the pits.

I'm in New England as well. Have not done a netra events but I've been doing the future Aces Sprint enduro's on my e-ride Pro which is basically like a light bee With nearly the same power as an Ultra bee. They don't have a C-Class. They only have an open division for the adults. I'd love to consider a netra event, but a lot of them you need a plated bike apparently? Jayday seems like a good compromise and it's a short race at only 30 minutes.

@@JNacoustic All NETRA races don't need a plate, that's only the Turkey Runs. You could do a NETRA hare scramble or Enduro in any open class, but they're long races so you'd probably need about 5.5kWh on that E-ride to get through it

Needs to last our 5 hour enduro races (all single track) in the East Coast Enduro Association. Thats why we have gas trucks stationed throughout the race. Even combustion engines can’t make it without fueling. I suppose instead of putting a gas cam on the trailer you could put a battery assuming that change out quickly

One thing to take into consideration when it comes to any motorsports and electric. Some of you need to realize that the sounds and the smells are part of the experience for spectators. When theres no longer sounds and smells to go along with racing some spectators may find it boring and stop attending races. And that will be detrimental for all motorsports.
