Today is 8/10/24. The Slayer/Bacchus show was on this date in 88. I remember because I was the singer for Bacchus! Played with Slayer again the next night at The Stone in SF. Great times!

Nikki i listen to 107,7 every day religiously. I would not call Mr. Big "metal". But they frickin rock. I know this is a classic rock with metal and blues and grudge, but every once in a while give Mr. Big some love and play "to be with you". The only only time i heard the bone play it was once by Steve on your Saturday night showcase.

I keep thinking about what Chuck said about being influenced by younger bands and using songs that are aggressive but then have a clean chorus as the example. That right there terrifies me! That! Is exactly what makes me hate the newer bands. You have this amazing aggressive song and then bam! The pussy ass chorus that kills the entire vibe. The formula is tired as hell. Kill Switch Engage has been doing it 20 years. I really really pray that isn’t the type of thing Testament is going to do. They are one of my two all time favorite bands. I don’t even know who I’d be without them 🤘
