I've been going back and forth on these guys for months now. I've finally decided to pull the trigger on them. My Siege Megs, and Earthrise Prime are no longer capable of transforming anyways, due to my effort to make them more accurate. Well Prime blew his hip out, and the new screw I've had to put in to hold him together has made me scared to transform him, but technically he's still capable of doing it. Megatron however, has had his backpack removed. I kept it, but my dog pulled a fast one on me, and snuck off and ate his backpack lmao, but no backpack, and Soundwaves pointless extra gun on his back, have made him look very accurate, plus removing all the paint spit helped as well. I have thought of these guys as being too big, but apparently they no longer are, after the size of the Commander Class Prime was revealled. Dude is about this size I think. I"m sure one day soon we'll get a side by side of the 2, and of course I'm absolutely grabbing him. Sucks, because now I'll have to track down a SS86 Magnus, since Prime will be so much taller than my Earthrise Ultra Magnus now. Good video, you got my thumbs and sub now. Oh, one more thing. In editing, turn your effects/music track DOWN! Either that or turn your vocal track up. They are really far apart, and it's very jarring. Jumped right up outta my chair whenever the music parts came in lol.
When I gave them a shot I was happy with the outcome. Now with Starscream up for preorder and Soundwave coming next, I’m in on those as well. The sizes are great and detail is amazing. Thanks for the sub! Always appreciated. And yeah I’m aware of the audio, I haven’t used the mic and a new one is coming that I can adjust, that’ll help a bunch, thanks for the feedback!

Anyone know ,but this head looks like the paw dude wreckage, is it ??
Very similar due to the balaclava. Wreckage is a full repaint of the second classified Firefly and does not have the knitting lined detail.

@dzsquad1965 I got Wreckage yesterday and he has the dark rings around his eyes, too. The odd couple.
I have a head and weapon kit for this guy too in 1/12 I cant wait on Hasbro. I had to print my own thunder machine too it's posted up on my channel
I been waiting on this one since the other one didn't buy it until it looked like they would never get around to releasing an actual classified version.

I wouldn’t need to troop build Shockwave if I did. But the Night Pursuit would be good to have a few extras. Again I don’t troop build, but the lower prices on these Walmart is offering them for, kinda hard to pass up.

I have two of these coming. And I got 3 of the previous Eel. Did the same with the snow serpent. Had I they'd get a retro card release, I would switched it. I would have only gotten 2 of the Classified snow serpents and 2 Eels. And gotten 3 of each of their respective retro carded releases. Because, that would have made a huge difference. (JK, LOL)
Now we just need v2 Snow Serpents (with their rocket sled) and Hydro-Vipers from the original 80's line brought into Classified.
I just saw that a local comic store had them in stock yesterday which was odd. If I did troop build them I’d get multiples of the retro card as well. The single release would be the SL due to the logo on the scuba tank.
Yes! Definitely the Hydro-Vipers with pet Ray. I’m still holding hope that we’ll get a more retro Snow Serpent with the old school snow shoes and missile lol.
What would really grind my gears, is if they reuse the deluxe version snow serpent's snowboard, for the version 2 snow serpent. If they make a Classified release of the O-ring v2 snow serpent, it needs to have the rocket sled that the O-ring came with. Complete with two rocket jets for propulsion at the back. And snake face sculpt for the front of the board. V2 Snow Serpent is the one I had back then. I thought it was cool because, it kind of looked like a snow ninja to me. LOL
That would be interesting. Of course if it is G.I. Joe I’ll have to get at least one. Time will only tell!
Great review... people are sleeping on this figure especially when it's a Walmart exclusive... eventually he'll be impossible to find like the original that was a Sears exclusive haha ...but i had and still have the original Night Force Tunnel Rat so had to pick this one up over the Original 👌

Low light goggles, 25th head, 30th body, rock viper fore arms, shock trooper web gear and a standard V.P.R. Hasbro hide a red tiger camo assault rifle with Lifeline. Hasbro should be issuing cobra build army in all the classified waves. Hay look 6 Shipwrecks in row next to 4 lady jayes 😝

No No no vehicles they just take up space I’m happy that super 7 will re make the O ring 3.75 g I joe figures and vehicles amazing so 6 inch will no longer be picked up
The vehicles are too much, I agree. You being an O ring fan is great and I respect that, I’m more of a modern collector personally. Wish they would keep doing stuff with those.
You guys pick over little shit remember these are toys made for children not grown adults , yes everybody is a collector but if you don’t like something don’t buy it . Just saying .
And we’ll keep picking cause our opinion is our God Given Right. That’s what reviews are made for. And as collectors we share that with everyone, whether you like it or not. Because it’s a G.I. Joe figure, we’ll likely buy it. Doesn’t necessarily mean we or anyone will like it.
Who cares about the back packs shit in the military they don’t have personal back packs they are all the same and reusable ..
The point was about the Retro look. However being a Cobra figure, they shouldn’t reuse a Joe character’s accessories. Not just 1, but 2 things!

Retro look is what I’m more used to, and yes I like that more as well. The wolf fur was just an extra price hike.

Exactly. I love the figures but I can’t call them retro without those OG pieces. Retro would’ve been a 1:12 copy of the ARAH figures. This is just a slight repaint from a limited release. Pretty unfair.

i got these, n theyre ok n all, but ive since taken them down. they just dont wow me and shelf space is getn scarce.will say that the red n black valaverse weapon sets really step these up so if you want yours to really pop on the shelf its worth getn some.
They were a hit of the moment. I’ve since moved mine into a cubby shelf in a closet lol. Just have no room for them with the main assortments .
loved the hms... great presence piece. dont need a crimson/788 techno viper thi (if anyones lookn LMK).would rather it cost less n they just left out the figure IMO.
If it were up me I probably would’ve swapped the Techno Viper with the Trooper.
does that god awful skull on his flame thrower come off? if no can it be cut off without compromising the weapon itself? def. not a fan of their random stylings.
It doesn’t. I was mentioning how it would be nice if it could come off, but nope. The flamethrower itself is very flexible, so cutting it off could be tricky. Sanding the area to smooth it out after it’s off would be a task in its own.

I think I like the color on this one better than the Masterpiece. At least it looks more like the cartoon which is what appeals to me.
Same. The color is great if you’re a G1 collector which I am and was very pleased with it.
Smart to start with the mini. Collecting and am a G1 fan so would also like to do stop motion.
Thanks, that’s was the idea. The Pro is so much better so it pays off. I wanted to do stop motion with the pro video but need to learn it. Check out @wayigotitfigured he is putting stop motion in his videos and they are looking great for starting out.
