  I don't know much about tea culture in UK since I am not British, is the amount of sugar Lucy put into her cup consider normal? In Hong Kong (where I come from) no one adds sugar in a cup of tea except boba tea... I am curious. How often British put sugar in their tea? Sugar + tea / sugar + milk + tea ?

  The scene where they wre in the graveyeard and George and Lucy are influenced by Bickerstaff's grave, it reminds me of a mother (Lockwood) trying to control her 5-year old kids (Lucy and George)

  I hope netflix doesn't cancel this show and I hope the producers don't ruin it. In the books you can tell lucy like lockwood but it never with beyound being a backseat little crush. Other than that there was nothing between lockwood and Lucy. They were just friends. There was Absolutely nothing between kipps and Lucy either so no love triangle. one of the biggest things I liked about LockWood and Co's author is that he kept everyone friends to the very end but I have a really bad feeling they are going to make Lucy and lockwood something that they were not.

  Did we read the same books? lmfao, book Lucy had it bad for Lockwood and he clearly liked her back! It was just more subtle and implied. I for one, am hoping the show ends with them showing them getting together as opposed to the books that left us high and dry. I need conflict resolution

  @ElleOfAquitaine lol yes, she liked him but I don't remember him showing interest towards her. I just hope they stay true to the books ending when it comes to these two. Judging from comments I am reading about lucy and lockwood it seems people read the relationship between the two very differently then others.

  @@Cartoonjoker15 In the first few books, it was friendlier but he was always flirty. In The Empty Grave however, he gives her that sapphire necklace that his dad gave his mum as a symbol of his 'undying devotion'. He then proceeds to sacrifice himself for her several times. It wasn't blatant, I agree but it was implied that they end up together at the end of the book. I think because it was a younger target audience, Stroud didn't write in a kiss scene. But anyway that's my interpretation!

  @ElleOfAquitaine I respect that. Everyone has their own interpretation of how it went. But whatever we believed happened, it was a great series that I wish the author would make a sequel to. It would be amazing if the problem came back and the few people that can communicate with type 3s could bond with them and go into battle with other type 3s and their listeners. And the connection that would be made between type 3s and listeners could be called BattleBond, which would be the name of the series. That would be sick.
