These aren’t beginner drones. These are for people who can afford the high cost.
I just obtained my 2024 107 license and commercial drone, working on getting it legal with remote i.d. while practicing it for a variety of services. My last name is well known with relatives owning a chain of 5 star restaurants in the seafood and steak hospitality buisness in a few various states, Florida, Georgia and north Carolina since 1948 (74 years in operation and still going, local real estate agent in the family and another real estate agent with permission to utilize my last name, mechanic shop with a local pro race car driver all local therefore i have a bit of a edge already. Cant wait untill this gets going a bit stronger.

Three DJI drones? Really? 1) Too pricey for beginners. 2) Geofencing sucks. 3) Models weighing more than 0.55 lbs force Remote ID on the pilot. Way too many better options out there for beginners. You need to give better advice.
Thanks for your concern but if you research the top five beginner drones online most of the top three that show are DJI drones and the list can be subjective not every list will be the same and compared to those lists, it’s fairly price for the quality. We understand not everyone is going to agree with the list. The only drone on this list due to the weight that already has remote Id on board is the Mavic Air 2. The other drones on this list weigh 250g or less. Newer drones going forward will already come with remote ID built in. What would be your top 5 list?
@@reactelectronics Any reasonably-priced, reliable, 3-axis gimbal, 25+ min flight-time, GPS, 3 km+ range drone without geofencing and where RID can be toggled off.

Or get a potensic or holy stone and have it fail and ruin your drone experience and make you quit the hobby altogether. It’s better to spend the little extra $$ and get a positive experience

You forgot DJI FPV.
This was an excellent presentation on Part 107 operations. Let me add a couple of things I don't think most people are aware of regarding Part 107 operations. If you are using a sub-250 gram as a Part 107 operator, either commercially or recreationally, you must register your drone. You also must have your sub-250 gram drone equipped with and transmitting Remote ID as a Part 107 operator. If a drone requires registration, it must have Remote Id, and since Part 107 requires all drones to be registered, it must be remote ID-equipped. You CAN fly recreationally with a TRUST certificate and a non-registered sub-250 gram drone without Remote Id. But again, if you're like me and only Part 107 certificated, you cannot fly a sub-250 gram unregistered non-Remote ID drone recreationally. The other thing is that no homebuilt UAS qualify for Part 107 operations. They must be factory made with registration numbers assigned.

No. A part 107 can have an unregistered sub 250 gram drone. That drone can only be flown under the recreational exemption. So the pilot couldn't use the unregistered drone for things like a roof inspection business.
DJI drones are very dangerous. Vulnerabilities are intentional to spy for the CCP. When you discover it, they will simply tell you they have known about it earlier because they put it there intentionally at the first place.132
Noone in the FPV will tell you to buy the DJI Fpv. There is allot of RTF kwads better than the potato drone.

No hate but you should not get the DJI fpv i would spend your money on a nazgul f5 or anything from Iflight unless you want something super easy out of the box with safety features
As a beginner in FPV it's not bad. It's heavy & best not to crash or it will get expensive but the signal & video quality is good as it gets & if you loose signal the return to home is better than anything else on the market & has saved me. The N mode means when your manual flight is done you can hit N mode & let it hover so that you can land it in your hand instead of the dirt. The camera angle can be adjusted in flight. For beginner fpv it is pretty decent & doesn't deserve the rep it gets.
@@Dec_K There is no way that a begginer should spend that much money in a hobby that may not be for you. And yes, is too fragile for a thing that WILL crash. the FPV is "fly, crash, repair and repeat"
@Toty RZ I was lucky and got I great deal on it. Goggles v2 & remote 2 can be used with the air unit & all in got the package for less than buying just those 2. So not a waste even if I move to air unit. For learning it provides bail out options to get you out of trouble. There are parts available & KZread videos of repairs. FPV is expensive which ever way you go

1,5 year ago i started to fly the mini 2. In december 2022 i bought the air 2s because i wanted bigger files and better photoquality and i have to admit this drone is a beast up in the air. I did not sold my mini 2, it’s now my backup drone in places were i can’t fly the air 2s…solid combination that works fine for me. I can see myself upgrading the mini 2 to the mini 3 pro in the future because of it’s vertical shooting mode 🤔👍🏻

A great DJI drone for beginners would be the mini 2! Another one you can check out is the mini 2 SE if you don't mind not having the 4k capability.

I recently flew my DJI Air 2S in strong windy conditions on beaches and I must admit, this lil drone is a beast. Not only the footage is awesome, the drone handled the winds like a boss. The connection with the control cannot be shaken even if you wanted to. I have flown it from a moving car, from inside concrete ceiling as obstruction and still the drone never disconnected and live footage was glitch free. Extremely satisfied with the footage and my purchase. DJI Air 2S rocks!
