I’ve tried this recipe multiple times and no matter how much I reduce the garlic, it comes across with a very oniony taste. I love onions and garlic, but even a small amount seems to always overwhelm this recipe.

I have never heard that and I personally have never had any issues. After a quick Google search, I didn't really see anyone having issues mentioning carbonated beverages. Unless you use a lot of any sugary substance and the sugar residue may clog the safety valve but that was all I found. Thanks for checking in and I hope the ribs are delicious for you!

It isn't clear how long you cook these for. U said it took 20 minutes for the pressure and then made mention of 5 minutes but all less than an hour. Could you please explain? Also as I don't eat pork can you please provide a recipe for beef cross ribs?

Thanks for watching the video! As far as cook time, it is 25 minutes…but each pressure cooker takes a different amount of time to “get to pressure” to start that cook time. Mine took 20 minutes so 20 minutes plus 25 minutes plus natural release 15-20 is right around 1 hour. If you do a quick release it’s 45 minutes in this cook. Hope that makes sense 👍🏼. Please check out my Yankee Pot Roast video for a beef version. Enjoy! 🙏🏼

Hi Randall: I never respond to these types of things but to not tell people how fabulous this recipe was would just not be right. Like you I’m from New Hampshire as well so I said “what the heck” I’ll try Randall’s recipe. Well I was awed by how fabulous it came out coupled with a buttered French Baguette and a glass of bold Red Wine. I thought “holy %#$&” this tastes like a 5 star meal I could order in Quebec City or Salzburg, Austria. It truly was that good. Kudos to your mother for the addition of the ketchup. I followed the recipe step by step and used the same ingredients. I was not rushed and began the meal prep at 6:15pm. I changed the Instant Pot time slightly to 60 minutes and did a natural release of 25 minutes. I did not have the silicone basket for the potatoes so I simply set the stainless steel trivet (that comes with the Instant Pot) on top of the chuck roast which was already on top of the vegetables and broth and then placed 4 good sized peeled potatoes on top of the trivet. In essence it acted in the same manner as the silicone basket that you use. After the Natural Release from the Instant Pot I placed the meat on a plate to rest and carve up (it sliced like butter). Then I placed the potatoes in Separate Bowls and mashed them. Next I placed an equal amount of meat in each bowl bowl on top of the potatoes. Then I mixed the Corn Starch slurry that you recommended into the remaining stew broth in the Instant Pot to create the Final Beef Gravy which I then ladled over the meat in each bowl. The taste was freaking unbelievable. I think Champagne might have gone well with this dish also (a bit of shabby/chic). I want to sincerely say thank you to you and your Mom for such an awesome supper dish. Best wishes from the Granite State “Live Free or Die”! I got to thinking that this would be the perfect dinner for Gandalf and the Dwarves at Bilbo’s house on the eve of The Unexpected Journey. Please make more videos teaching how to make Thai Red Curry and Thai Green Curry. We want more. Please Don’t Stop.

Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus - Worst Tech Support Ever! I purchased an Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus. I set it up and did the five minute water test. Then got to work. My first recipe was a chicken and rice recipe. The pot went into preheat mode and the steam valve never closed. It just kept on preheating until the display said BURN FOOD! Food ruined. Put ruined. Half inch of black char. Caked tech support and they doesn't half an hour asking me specifics about my recipe. Then they sent me an email asking me to spend over an hour videoing, photographing, measuring, running programs with water, and to provide details on my recipe. It's not just a bad device. That happens. But their tech support had an opportunity to be helpful to an excited new customer. Instead they chose to make me jump through hoops when I already told them the steam valve never closed even though it was properly installed and moved freely. Oh yeah, tech support wanted me to thoroughly clean the blackened disaster to do their tests. I'm sorry but first use disaster only had one response; let us replace that immediately and get you cooking. Instead they indirectly suggest that I broke their machine and insisted I jump through hoops. I did a reform3 at Walmart and sent it back. They went from having my $200 and a new customer and they chose to have a ruined pot, no money and an angry customer. Buy this pot but understand if you need help you won't get it from Instant Brands. Worst tech support I've ever had in my life!

Thanks for the recipe, I do think you would have found it easier to mix wings directly in a bowl with the marinade sauce before putting them on the rack, also the sauce looked very thin, you may have been better to mix the seasoning into the sauce to thicken it before adding the chicken or adding a bit of corn or tapioca flour/starch to the marinade sauce to thicken it so it sticks to the wings.

Hey Henry thanks for watching! I use Apple Cider in the pressure cooker and just prefer it... I do use ACV in my smoker (in a steam pan) for those ribs and I’m sure you could substitute ACV in this recipe 👍🏼

Also if using ACV, I would probably cut the ACV with water ...maybe 1/2 cup ACV to 1.5 cup water
