Wrong. It wasnt the actual Updates they brought. It was the mechnical layout inside the car. Thats why Toto said they would bring the new floor after the summer break

George is known to take big risks, and he is also known for poor risk assessment..... George was not let down by his team with the machinery, he was let down with the strategy.... he should have been given a firm no. He would have gotten 12 points..... he ended up with a DQ. And finally, it is George stupid suggestion that made the car fail the weight test.... George said in an interview before he was DQ, that he made the calculations in his head that it would be difficult for Lewis to catch him.... so he made a calculated decision to screw over his teammate and steal the win... but he didn't "calculate" the weight issue..... so all this sympathy for George is fromm a superficial view of the issue..... George did crap, and there's is no place for celebration of crap, or feeling sorry for someone who admits they made a calculated decision to do crap.

They have a huge Straight-line speed advantage with the DRS, so it will be easy for them to overtake. But sectors 2 and 3, McLaren will dominate them easily. If they can get hold of the cars drag issues, McLaren are favorites to win!

It's still unknown that Ferrari's bouncing issues are fixed because hungaroring hid that weakness. It will be interesting to see in that whether or not they have actually fixed that. Cool conditions and low downforce will probably suit Mercedes. Can't wait for the Belgian Grand Prix

Actually turns 4 and 11, the SF-24 had little bouncing (Remember Leclercs crash during practice, there). Carlos after looking at the data said the bouncing was less than it was before around those types of corners. So a positive I guess. Still it is bouncing and Spa will be a massive test for Ferrari.

Merc are looking nice. Both McLaren and Merc have not made huge aero revisions, yet they have gained a chunk on Red Bull. Shows those 2 concepts have a higher development ceiling... So its going to be between the works and customer team I believe... 2024 F1 season is way competitive than I expected, so kudous for the teams for making it possible... Finally, Red Bull have hit the problems Merc and Ferrari have been suffering for 2 yeara straight. Neery was key and Christian just lost the ace. My fav for belgium is Norris and McLaren. Merc look nice and Red Bull will be a tough fight with Max now being fierce to win once more.

Still has much more to learn. He should make some decisions I believe from the cockpit for himself. The engineers are not always correct, a driver has to develop a gut feeling. Lewis has that, Seb Vettel had that, Max has that at peak form. Russell and Lando specially have to develop that skill...

Allison has the advantage of seeing the correct general way to build the car from Newey, IE focusing on mechanical platform control via the suspension. Newey did the suspension for 2022 RB and we saw they were the only team not plagued by porpoising. Allison comes in, nothing changes for the first little while, then they introduce a suspension upgrade and suddenly the car is competitive again. We have no way of knowing if Allison would have gone this direction on his own. They are both brilliant engineers with similar records and we can appreciate them both.
