The team has evolved into a deep roster with experienced talent at all positions. Dart will be better protected and don't forget the helmet mic. This is an amazing time and we all need to enjoy it.

I know it is your job to hype up the Rebels, but I really think you are right on all your analysis that you give on your daily shows. I claim Starkville as my hometown, but I have to say that I have never been as excited to see Ole Miss perform as this season. Fans "appreciate" defense, but they don't love it like I do. I am expecting good things. I am from the Johnny Cooks and Glen Collins years at State and they turned me on to defensive play.

Meanwhile, Zavion Thomas is another transfer LSU receiver who led Moo State's offense in receiving yards and punt returns last year. While Aaron Anderson is a former five star receiver looking to make a lot of noise at receiver this season. Then, on top of that, LSU has the absolute best tight end room in the SEC, no. In the entire country. Oh, did I say that LSU's OL is the de-facto best in the country? As LSU will have an outstanding running game to go along with Nuss' passing attack that will be off the chart. As Nuss has a significantly better arm than Jaxson Dart. I hate to rain on this loon's unhinged parade again, but there is no way Ole Miss will be able to keep up with LSU in Baton Rouge. Count on it being a set back this fall.

College football is up and down, including high school recruiting, remember best class ever and A&M? People just refuse to give credit to Ole Miss, lived it a lifetime! Oops MSU players were paid, let's put Ole Miss on probation.
Tuberville was not averse to Navy Blue. In fact he's the one who brought in the navy helmets after we had had the powder blue helmets for 13 or so years. That said, he wanted Ole Miss to have an identity instead of being all over the place with different colors and so he concentrated on fans wearing red. I completely agreed with him on that. A sea of red looks incredible on TV whereas blue looks dull. I think red jerseys should be the default for SEC games with navy being worn on homecoming and non-conference games.
This is the first time I have seen someone advocating for just focusing on transfer portal for team building. I guess, Colorado is the other school trying to do it this way. Problem is Mercenaries are only worried about themselves in most cases, look at Fla St in the Orange Bowl last year. I really hate all these rule changes. There needs to at least be some limits placed on the tendancy to play the Mercenary game. Remember, this is COLLEGE FOOTBALL not Pro....these one year and out guys probably don't make any effort to behave like a student and go to classes.
