As a viewer who is just now seeing this video over 11 years later, I can confirm this is part 2 of a shark swimming in a Massachusetts Salt pond.

I’d try a floating mallard decoy with Colorado blade feet and try calling it in. “Quack, quack” (twitch, twitch) Repeat. Or a walking bait in weener dog color. “Good boy!”

The fin on the shark at the beginning that is a great white is not even the same as the shark that they are showing in the rest of the clip. I am not saying it is not a great white juvenile but I have my doubts about it.

As a worker at the New England aquarium, and former jaws movie observer, I can telll you that this is 100% proof of a living megalodon.

My wife and I were visiting her brother who lived in Falmouth at the time and we were in a small boat traveling from Falmouth to Sconicut Neck where their grandparents had a cottage. We never saw or heard anything but learned about it the next day. It happened in one of the Elizabeth islands. Don Martin

I read that a storm with very high tides flooded or pushed the shark into the pond and after the tide went down it was trapped there buteventually they got it out.

As the Great White shark in this video, I can confirm that I actually took the wrong turn and ended up in this pond. I didn't think I'd cause such a stir. However. 3.6 million views in 11 years and only 18,000 likes? What's that about? If I'd bitten someone, would I have gotten more likes?

Jokes aside, I wonder what the shark is thinking. Does it realize it's somewhere that it "shouldn't" be? Would it be trying to find it's way back to where it "should" be? I would think it could probably sense the difference in salinity, seeing the bottom, noticing the difference in acoustics, the flow of current, etc.
