  Very cool video and well written. But I do think you should read the script yourself rather than the emotionless AI voice that repeatedly fails to say "Mo-Leen A-Kers (Moline Acres)" correctly. It would also add a bit of emotion to a video that is sure to generate a strong emotional response. I just found your channel and subscribed because I love North County history since I grew up here.

  The state had nothing to do with the mall, St. Louis port authority took ownership in 2017 because of many failed attempts of many different owners between 2012 to 2017. After those failed attempts the city planned on demolishing it since 2017.

  Yeah, I'm still not 100% certain on what's gonna be going there, as of March 29th, the plans are still a temporary green space, but future development is still an open discussion.

  North county can’t keep anything decent but Walmart. The residents are too poor and/or think the grass is greener in south county or Clayton. One day north county will get gentrified and stores and shopping centers will comeback.

  The chances of this building being restored or repurposed are zilch. It will almost certainly be torn down, with few of the materials recycled. A shame. How many times was Moline Acres mispronounced and misspelled in this video?

  A lot of people wanted it to be restored. But at this point it probably will be torn down, but Moline Acres doesn't have the funding to do so, and St. Louis County refuses to help.

  The Chesterfield Mall will be closing this year and I heard that it was the Sister Mall to the Jamestown Mall, I wonder what will be Chesterfields fate? Keep em Rolling!

  The leases end August 31, all tenants must be out at that point. And yeah Chesterfield mall was Jamestown's sister location. Chesterfield wants to turn that property into downtown Chesterfield and have it as mixed use property was apartments greenery and businesses
