As a scientist, the older I get, the more I have been introduced to marvelous things beyond interpretation or understanding. These moments have shown me the universe is wonderous beyond description and that love is paramount to our journey through life. We do not have to abandon or give up science to accept that there are things a bit beyond science that we cannot accurately test and reproduce. It doesn't mean science is flawed, it just means that the science we have done is the science most compatible with our five senses. My personal theory is that the mind is more of a conduit and filter of consciousness. When we are very young, many of these filters aren't fully formed. That's why kids sometimes come up with wild stories about remembering previous lives, etc. It isn't that they are making things up but that they may be tapping into something beyond explanation due to limited filters in their brain. As we age, those filters get refined and we experience our usual "5 senses" life. As we get older and age and get closer to leaving this world, those filters start to break down. At moments during an NDE or just before actual permanent death (in this world / plane), those filters are basically shut down and that's when people on their death bed can see other deceased people, etc.

You can absolutely become addicted, and you can without a doubt experience cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Look up cannabis hyperemesis syndrome. Withdrawal can cause depression, anxiety, insomnia, vivid dreams or nightmares, loss of appetite, and other symptoms. It is fat-soluble and stays in the system for a long time, and this can cause physical cravings. It is psychologically addictive as well, just like all drugs. For some users, they can become heavily addicted and burdened from cannabis use disorder. It amazes me that it is hard for people to grasp that it is addictive. It might not kill you quickly, but it can lead to many psychological and physiological issues down the line as well. Do not underestimate the addictiveness of highly concentrated THC. The science will begin to catch up.

Malfunctioning Machines and Poor Customer Service at Agua Catalina Casino in Rancho Mirage** I wanted to share a troubling experience I recently had at Agua Catalina Casino in Rancho Mirage. While playing the slot machines, I encountered several malfunctions. Despite being hopeful for a win, the machine malfunctioned and didn't operate correctly. When I reported the issue, I was met with unhelpful responses. The casino staff refused to review the security camera footage and wouldn't refund the money I had put into the malfunctioning machine. Additionally, I felt discriminated against during the process. I contacted the FBI to look into this issue, and they are investigating. Despite this, I received a letter from the Executive Director of the casino stating that the machine was working fine. However, it was clear to me that it wasn’t, and I believe I am owed money. Has anyone else had a similar experience at Agua Catalina Casino? Have you encountered malfunctioning machines or issues with the casino staff? Let’s share our experiences and hold the casino accountable for their practices.
The food at The Barn is the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life! And it's expensive to boot. Not sure what happened. It used to be good before the remodel.

I can't accept the idea that NDEs are a means a dying brain uses to comfort itself. Every effort of evolution is directed toward survival. And the organism (us) is going to fight desperately against non-survival. Death anxiety is an emotion. How could the brain develop a means to cope with emotion as the brain goes extinct? It would be a lie the brain creates for itself in order to cope.
