    Thanks for the video. A small correction- pitch stability is a function of the distance between the front and rear wing (and other factors like AoA). The location of the mast does not affect pitch stability, even though it changes to distance between the rear wing and mast. But it has a huge affect on yaw stability like you said.

    Thanks for the helpful video. I wondered why Axis decided not to make a windsurf version of the advanced fuse as I thought this could be a useful option.

    hello! I have a red s series ultra short fuse. The foil I use now is a older 100. I want to buy a png 1300 but on this foil there are only 3 holes and my 100 has 4. would this be a problem?

    Which is fastest on flat water? I have a 2020 Blackfish (14x23) with the old round nose. Now I'm looking for a board for completely flat water, but without compromising too much on stability. The question is: Is a 2022-23 Whiplash in 14x24 (slightly wider than the old Blackfish) noticeably faster than the Blackfish (14x23)? Enjoy the crisp winter air!

    I tried it on my speed Wing-Foil board yesterday with a 500 cm foil in lightish wind. It was really fast. It was raining and I found the wings weight goes up quite a bit. It’s very stable as you said. The usable angle of attack range is smaller than the Fusion you need to be careful not to over sheet it downwind. It has a paraglides feel to it.

    That’s very interesting feedback. Could you go into more detail on the usable angle of attack range being smaller please? Would you agree that it points 5° or 10° higher?

    Excellent review! Very thorough and informative. I especially loved the "come hither" comment! Haha! You did such a good job of describing the feeling of holding the wing through the different phases of a session. I'm excited to hear that it points 5º to 10º higher upwind. Well done, and thanks for braving the cold for us.

    Thanks for explaination very clear and precise . Is the power carbon mast not HM capable of withstanding the leverage force of the big wings better than aluminium ?

    Hey Freddy.. thanx for the rundown on the Axis BSC range.. I'm interested to hear your take on the BSC 810 compared to the new Spitfire 840 for a 63kg progressing learner? for tow or prone surfing only.

  • @MaxtrackDistribution
    @MaxtrackDistribution11 ай бұрын

    as soon as i get a chance to ride a few of the Spitfires we'll aim to get something up! the idea behind the Spitfire was to maintain surfability of the likes of the 810bsc, but enable it to pump better at the same time. its also a quicker foil, so will tow better in bigger stuff

    Hi, nice video! Thanks. I am wing foil on the bsc 970 (and pumpfoil on the 1150). Looking for a smaller frontwing for 20+kn. Would you recommend the 890 or the 810? I am 80kg. Thanks

  • @MaxtrackDistribution
    @MaxtrackDistribution Жыл бұрын

    Hey - the 890 might be a little close to the 970, so with that in mind the 810 might be a better option - although if you're getting comfortable on foil and confident in your gybes etc, might be worth looking towards the HPS range for a little more speed and range for the higher winds
