Semi Bogus video. Your script depressed me. 2:36 like anything in life, why even state this? What is your point? Too much water can do harm. If you have @ b12 deficiency a b12 pill could save your brain and life. You're not thinking clearly. If you don't like fish, then what? 3:47 Nonsense. Studies do nothing. Benefits don't wait around for a study to show up before they are known. You got stinken thinken here. The authorities are the last to know.

Just don't have kids. When I was a kid, I don't have a problem with my parents. It's all genetics. If your kids sucks, it's not your fault. They just suck.

The issue is my teenager has never really talked and she doesn’t seem overly excited about anything aside from drama, but I feel like she is missing a lot of natural common sense when it comes to things like communication

  • @celinesadd1

Same issue here. A lot of issues with basic common sense. Academically fine but hygiene, mental organisation, lack of emotions or empathy. I’m worried he’s somewhat sociopathic or it’s behavioural or just plain doesn’t care. Any update on your situation?

I’m seeing this video in 2024 and has been the most eye-opening video I’ve seen about loneliness and depression so far. We are designed to be part of a tribe, yet we are living highly individualistic lives, which leads to depression. That makes total sense. Thank you for the information you’ve put together.

This was very informative. I was in a car accident and so I got a CAT scan because I am on anticoagulant. The brain CAT scan report stated "mild, generalized volume loss," but nobody said anything to me at the time. I just read it, today, only because I had to secure a copy of the report to send to the car insurance company of the kid that rammed into me. Shouldn't the ER doctor have said something that day? I was in-between primary docs. I am 64, male, morbidly obese, apnea, with a recent pacemaker. I will be seeing my new primary this week. Is this verbiage, "mild, generalized volume loss," always mean great trouble ahead? In scared.

Do any other womem feel these thousands of videos go on and on about the symptoms which we kind of know ad nauseum making us feel even worse and more worried. Very little is said about actual help available except a reference to HRT which isn't right for evety woman especially those who have cancer history. So many private clinics exploiting women who are at wits end and can't afford the astronomical consultation and medicine fees.

Same… what is happening in my case, is the child is always around the Biological parent. Constantly telling the child how Wrong You are, & how Right They are! The only thing one can do is to be there by the 📱 when they call. Absence makes the heart grow founder. U can’t force someone into something they don’t want… try offer your self to them. If they won’t, then give them Space. They will come back around down the road. The Prodigal son

Bear in mind theres only space for a certain amount of brain cells in between your ears. Just because something has the potential to stimulate brain cell growth doesn't mean your brain cells will keep growing until you die if you never stop swimming . Its making the braincells that you've already got work that is the key

Excellent presentation of clear facts. As a parent of two teens I often reflect back on my own teenage rebellion years and try to think of anything an adult could have said which would have gotten through to me at the time. Aside from much more open communication, I haven't come up with much from a psychological perspective, but I believe the neurological development facts you cited may get the attention of even the most "invincible" and curious teen. I would love to hear more of your thoughts on how to make the long term consequences of substance use more salient to a near term reward seeking teenager. Cheers!

Now I need to know why my room is always clean and I get panic attacks when something is out of order-😭 (as a teenager myself) Edit: I actually looked up this video because I was confused why my friend's rooms were always so messy and how their parents didn't immediately freak out over the mess? It was helpful thanks! For information, I grew up in an overly coean household. We have a cleaning day atleast 2 times a week where we clean every room in the house, dishes and other chores are always done and if you've lost something that means it wasn't in its designated place and you've also just earned yourself a scolding! I never really had trouble with a messy room since I grew up so cleanly, and I even became more clean during my teenage years and still am becomming more clean in my mid-teens. I can't live in amess, it freaks me out and I *have* to clean before anhthing else or else I can't do anything like study or homework. I NEVER understood disorganized/messy teenagers

Hi Dr Ben. My friend had a hemorrhagic stroke 3 months ago. He can do all his daily routine stuff. The hemorrhagic stroke was in the basal ganglia. According to the CT scans there is no damage in that area. His speech has also improved a lot. he can write as well but the issue is with his reading. He can read alphabets in an order like A-Z but when asked randomly it becomes difficult for him.
