  I don't understand, Valve had something like this as far back as 2006 and they never used it on their later games, what the hell?! This would be so useful in games like L4D2 to make rubble piles look like there's depth. i always remember this from Crysis, it looked amazing! I think Fear also used this for bullet holes

  I uploaded it 3 years after the game's release, so it was confusing to me too at the time. I think the algorithm favored it for some reason, maybe the title or something else.
