    One only need to join the millions (maybe now billions) we call tourists, to witness the destruction of the earth's ecosystems by our over population. It will only get worse!

    Πολιτισμός και θύμηση είναι όταν έχουμε όλοι πρόσβαση σε ένα τόσο σημαντικό ιστορικό γεγονός. Είναι πολύ άσχημο σε εμάς που δεν έχουμε τόσο άριστη γνώση αγγλικών η και άλλων γλωσσών να μην μπορούμε να παρακολουθήσουμε η να σχολιάσουμε ένα τόσο σημαντικό ιστορικό γεγονός. Η παρουσίαση του θέματος θα μπορούσε ίσως να έχει πρόσβαση τουλάχιστον σε αυτόματη μετάφραση από αγγλικά στην Ελληνική γλώσσα. Σας ευχαριστώ.

    Hi. I don't understand the 2 trips. Is it like two tickets for 90 minutes? Or can you scan it only twice?

  • @Panagiotis_P
    @Panagiotis_P3 ай бұрын

    Unlimited uses during the 90 minute period, if you scan outside that time you are charged with another ticket which can be used for another 90 minutes

    Americans of that era were mostly philhellenic. Unfortunately a portion of American's today are racist towards Greeks... including some of the staff of CYA. As an ethnic Greek I do not have no problem with most Americans but some of the staff of CYA are far leftist pseudo-scientists that not only unprofessionally muddle their obvious super-woke politics Apparently the only "good" Greeks are the ones that erase their very ethnic identity.. aka some that work at CYA are trying to ethnic cleanse Greeks. Not only do the, racist, liars unethically evade over the former Yugoslavians (what they ridiculously claimed as "ethnic" Macedonian) little switch of identity from Slav into apparently anti-hellenic founders of the Hellenistic period but it's now reached the absurd point where the genocidal antihellenic fanatics at CYA imply Greeks are not a "real" ethnicity. I quote the super-woke "diversity-inclusion-greek-society" page of CYA's website... Greece did develop, however, a narrative of “shared blood” that creates the identity of “Greekness” as an ethnicity, and it also historically participates in the privileging of a European whiteness. This has made it difficult for new migrants from other societies to be included in this story of who counts as “Greek” (and has caused regional conflicts in Greece over the past century as well)." IMO if CYA does not purge the racist staff that allowed for the offensive page to be published CYA should be injected from Greece for hate crimes. CYA staffs attempted genocide of ethnic Greeks isn't 'human rights" and "diversity".

    Why do you keep deleting my posts? What happened to free speech that the super-woke far leftist staff CYA claims to stand for? Like to virtue signal about alleged "racism" by Greeks but don't like to be called out when CYA staff are racist towards ethnic Greeks? I guess racism is fine as long as directed at ethnic Greeks. As an ethnic Greek I do not have no problem with most Americans but some of the staff of CYA are far leftist pseudo-scientists that not only unprofessionally muddle their obvious super-woke politics with their profession but are virulently racist towards ethnic Greeks. Apparently the only "good" Greeks for CYA staff are the ones that erase their very ethnic identity.. aka some that work at CYA are trying to ethnic cleanse Greeks. Irony that a CYA staff member should lecture about "populism" when so many that work at CYA are far leftists that unprofessionally muddle their political ideology with actual teaching. This Greek staff member says she is "Greek by blood" obviously has no clue some of CYA's, racist staff imply on their website that she isn't a "real" ethnic Greek. I quote CYA super-woke "diversity-inclusion-greek-society" page.... "Greece did develop, however, a narrative of “shared blood” that creates the identity of “Greekness” as an ethnicity, and it also historically participates in the privileging of a European whiteness."

    Not everyone that goes to CYA or works for CYA is a bad person but some of their obvious super-woke staff are clearly racist towards Greeks to the point of, genocidally, attempting to erase ethnic Greek identity. The academic frauds not only unethically pretend not to notice the former Yugoslavians little switch of identity into apparently antihellenic founders of the Hellenistic period but on their website they offensively frame Greek ethnicity as "narrative of ethnicity" which id defacto is a subtle attempt to ethnic cleanse Greeks. If this antihellenism by CYA staff doesn't stop it should be expelled from Greece for hate crimes.

    The gentrification effect (minute 27+) is significant for cultural reasons also. Greece loses the cultural and community 'feel' that makes Greece distinctive. Forcing out locals through Airbnb can spell the loss of culture and community., which is a large reason visitors come to Greece. Another thought. the brief discussion of climate change: global warming can be a net plus: expanding the summer season. May to November.....

    Physicist Alan Sokal warned about a segemnt of the humanities that nprofesssionally abuse their academic credentials to peddle far left politics. This describe Alexis Phylactopoulos to a tee. As President of CYA he's responsible for its super-woke rhtoric.. It's reached the absurd point that Phylactopoulos in his desire to show how he is 'anti-racist' is racist towards ethnic Greeks. If you go to it's diversity page it offensively implies Greeks aren't a real ethnic group (implying the same of other Europeans). Apparently only ethniciies that Phylactopoulos approves of are "real". There is a saying when you go far enough to the left and right you end up in the same place. CYA and Phylactopoulos... like the Nazis.. seem to be genocidal towards ethnic Greeks.

    The population exchange between Greece and Turkey was the first time in history that ethnic cleansing became legal. After 25 years, the same happened between India and Pakistan. Two great tragedies of the 20th century.

    God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith & trust in Him today & please repent.

    Thanos Veremis, and ELIAMEP which he founded, are incompetent. They are leftist humanity's flakes that peddle his politics as "scientific" (see Sokal Affair). Veremis has caused major damage to both Greece and Greeks by going around claiming modern Greeks aren't biological related to ancient Greeks. Veremis has no clue this rehash of Fallmayerer's claims are in direct conflict with multiple independent genetic studies, from teams of accredited geneticists, from reputable universities, that have done the actual painstaking work of finding, extracting, sequencing ancient Greek DNA and doing a comparative analysis with modern. The current evidence not only suggest Greeks are directly biologically related to ancient Greeks but even Neolithic people that lived in Greece. To find out how much admixture and genetic drift one consults a population geneticist not some unqualified quacks in the humanities that confuses their hot air political narratives with science.
