I always wore my belt in school in the shop and sometimes my homies would kinda pick at me for it, but when I started my apprenticeship I was so used to putting everything in my pouch I just never lost anything, the odd pencil here and there but I’m pre damn proud of myself, because I normally do this shit all the time

When you tighten the collet it pulls the bit further in. There has to be space for that to happen. If the bit starts bottomed it can't be tightened properly. DAMHIKT

That is a Stanley Yankee push drill. Every phone installed and repair tech used to have one in their pouch. I've had mine for about 40 years. If you search for that name on the Internet, you will find that Garrett Wade still carries them. I'm sure there are other vendors, too.

I am 70 and believe this or not I have a A hand drill very similar to this that I got from my father.... The handle is fashioned from oak and I believe it to be close to 120 years old.. My father got it from his father. And it still works a lot better then some of the modern tools i have
