An October day 😮 I want October already again 😢 An awesome Ginger Beer whoa!! That tiny cobalt ❤ All of the cobalt bottles and jars i love The torpedo bottle I'd be sad to find damaged also. You have such a great dump to dig!!

Man those are some awesome meds. I dig in the small town I live in (Smithfield NC) and find good stuff every once in a while but nothing like what you find, you got yourself one hell of a spot, once again very nice bottles man.

I watch both Northern Mudlarks and Kit and Caboodles, they all 4 wish they could find a glass insulator like we have here in the US 😊 You found some really cool bottles!!

I'm assuming that ashes from homes or businesses were still very hot when they were dumped which is why some bottles are semi-melted.

Why did the US armed forces have their own bottles and what was in them? And what was in the dispensary flasks that turn up in some states?

They (at least the Navy) had their own on-base pharmacies for all personnel. They worked much like other pharmacies at the time, the doctor would prescribe a medication and used bottles like the ones in the video. I believe dispensary flasks were from state-run liquor dealerships, but I'm not an expert on those.
