Did you have to cut the trim metal to get it to fit properly? I like how it is recessed in and looks like a nice tight fit. I am looking to get one of these but the installer wants to put the trim on the outside and I do not think it looks as good as yours.
@drozak32079 ай бұрын
Installer wanted to do the same I said no thanks. Leave it I will do it. I screwed 4 small brackets into the brick before the install. Then just trim to fit perfect. It can rest on the bracket but I put a magnet on the back of the trim and sticks right to the bracket.

So just slow to being the house up when coming home from working a 12 hour shift. Just had a freestanding Buck 81 installed in our old house. It’s our first experience with a wood heater. Two challenges that we encountered; cleaning those two bay windows are a pain. Not so much the door glass. Weird. I use wet paper towel dipped in the wood ash. Our other challenge is getting the heat to circulate throughout our small single story house. Even with the blower system, the house floor layout creates obstacles for the heat to circulate. No regrets. We love our Buck.
