I built race cars for Jim Perry JR and was his crew chief in the mid 80s. I built the chassis and Jay built the engines. We raced against Howard and Bret. I was there the night Howard part his super on the top of the turn four fence. I also did the oil painting of Bret's car when he won the championship at Ocean speedway in Watsonville.

I watched Kyle race the little carts at cycleland. Speedway. Most of us knew he was special behind the wheel when he was 10 and beating guys that raced that track for 15 years. We nicknamed him Pokémon 🤣 Yeah, I agree, looks like he got the pavement thing figured out! 🇺🇸 🎉

Just ran across this video. I remember the Shannahan Offy back in the 70's when I had a Chevy II Kurtis midget. My car was old, worn out and I raced on my lunch money budget! But I got out there when I could! Sure wish I could have ran fast enough to have participated more than I did. BCRA always had a very large car count!

Interesting to watch. Some of those cars are going quick. I run a dirt classic Supermod. Here in South Oz. One of those looks nearly the same as mine.! The speed difference is about the same so hard work sometimes. The first heat was a Marshall Sargeant car No 7. A visitor here in the late 60s. A pity to see it bent.

@@coryedwards7595 maybe you should have spent more time studying how to spell simple words and using basic punctuation. And really who cares about your martial arts training? How does that have anything to do with the subject at hand? You made a claim he is and never will be a real racer. The amusing part is how this supposed person that isn't a real racer is making a massive paycheck unlike you doing the very thing you claimed he could never be. Guess it just proves how ignorant you were from the beginning. Maybe you should stick to whatever mediocre living it is that you make and stop making statements about a subject and people you clearly have no clue about.
