I didn't know you have a KZread channel as well, saw your post on the Critically Endangered birds group last month. It's good to see the entire experience in this video, thanks for sharing. :)
Excelente, siempre bienvenidos a Colombia 🇨🇴 paraíso de las aves!!
Wow. Those views were amazing!! What a trip!!
I started watching this video and lost it. I checked my history and could not find it, but kept on searching until I found it and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely loved it! How exciting to finally get your target and what beautiful video and photos. I don't think I could make that trip, so it was almost like being there. You did great!
Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad you found the video and enjoyed it.
Fantastic content, keep up the good work!!!
Wow. Thanks for sharing this amazing trek and birds.
Great video, and amazing photos and videos of the birds. What equipment do you use for these shots?
Thank you! I use a Sony A1 and the 200-600 lens. Sure would like to try out their 600 f4 some day!
Wow, love that double-toothed barbet.
That´s one of the best birding videos I´ve seen. Btw I hope you didn´t resort to bad language when your lens fogged up 🤣
Wow, that’s high praise! Thank you. There were a lot of negative thoughts towards that lens for an hour or so.
Bucket list trip
It was on my bucket list since their rediscovery. It didn’t disappoint
Such a dream come true, awesome!
Awesome video, I'm doing this trek next year and I cannot wait! Did you do much other birding in Colombia?
Good luck! It’s an incredible adventure. Unfortunately I did not get to explore Colombia after the tour. Tight schedule.
nice birds
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing such a special bird with us! What a journey!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing adventure, glad you got to see them!
An adventure I’ll never forget. Totally worth it.
Ace video mate, well done.
Thank you! Appreciate it.
Jeez. One day.
Do it while you’re young. Trust me.
Absolutely incredible. Well done!
Thanks! Definitely need to get back to Colombia one day.
Looks absolutely stunning!
It was from start to finish!
Fantastic coverage and a great trip it was
Red-faced Barbet is not supposed to occur in Mburo. Well done.I think your ID is correct.
A flying Dino-beauty
The way these birds raise their young offends me, but hey I guess prehistoric habits die hard. And to be fair they dont really mess with man. And they eat baby crocs, they have my respect for that.
Thanks for sharing!
What lens are you using with the a1?
Thanks for sharing! How are you getting your Sony A1 to focus birds-in-flight in video? It's frustrating for me, I actually started using a Sony ZV-E1 for videos (with BIF). What AF settings are you using? (If you don't me asking)
Amazing creatures
Congratulations one hundred
Sweet!
Amazing 😮
Very surprised that you would see a kildeer in january 😮😮😮
Very nice video about birds. Amazing.
Thank you!
Congrats!
You gonna laugh at this...I was looking at this vid and my wife walked in and ask if you were Justin Timberlake. So I said yes you were. 😂😂 Congrats on your 100 birds...look forward to you next adventure.
That’s actually not the first time I’ve heard that 😆. Although it’s been a while. I’d probably have a lot more subscribers if I was haha!
The Eckert PEFA has been roosting on the strobe lights of the stacks lately, there must be a little warmth on top of them. We should do a vid on a raptor watch at Williamston hill this year.
That would make a good video!
Well done David. Really enjoying your videos.
Hi Pavlik. Well done buddy. I am now at 117 species in my area in northern germany. That was so much work. Greets Stefan
That is a great total! Hopefully one day I’ll get to Germany to see some birds
Man, you're dedicated. Going up 13000 ft out of the selva takes some nuts. I like the way that no matter what block you're around you can name off a few of the birds that are likely to be there.
It won’t be an easy trip, but I’ve been wanting to do it for a long time. Should be a fun adventure!
Congrats on 100 birds! That's not easy for January in colder climates! Good luck on your trip! Sounds amazing!
Thank you! Hopefully it will be an incredible trip. Really looking forward to it.
100 was a heck of a bird! Gotta love some good ole Raptors! Birds of prey are probably my favorite birds!
I was happy with #100! It was a lot more work that I thought it would be
Nice and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing so wonderful video & big like
By the way, how many Pavlik birders are there in Michigan?!?! 😂
Enough to be dangerous ;)
Outstanding video! I haven’t been to the EUP yet this winter and your video has me missing it. Super footage!
You've made a new subscriber, great video.
Thanks Shaun! I hope you enjoy the videos!
I'm surprised that most birds don't just hibernate when the weather gets like where you are. They seem so delicate.
Shame that the BTYW likely succumbed to the elements, that would've made a nice January additon
Indeed. I still have some easy ones left!
Great content - really enjoying your channel. Thanks!
Glad you’re enjoying it!
I’m super invested in this 100 birds in January!
Another excellent video David. Looking forward to the next one.
I appreciate your respect and care for the owls. It's horrible to hear about some peoples' behavior, but glad to see someone practicing good ethics. Great video!
I’m glad I didn’t have to witness it in person. The things I’ve seen online and heard about is horrible.
