Cool technique! Thanks for sharing.
Another great idea and one we can do inside, thank you for all the great ideas. If I get some good results I, of course, will take all of the credit, but if you mess them up it’s all on you!😀jk
Haha, naturally.
I really like what you do with the wine glasses and light, it looks like it could be very frustrating, guess I’ll find out, lol. But I will use red wine so I have a fall back plan.
Hahah I love it. The problem is I only drink white and that's not as pretty! It's really not so frustrating. I just haven't done much backlighting before so it was all an experiment but hopefully you now know how to avoid the hardest part! I'm quite pleased with how it turned out actually.
This is amazing, thanks for sharing Your creative process. Wonderful picture!
Thank you so much! ❤
Amazing what all you do, doubt I could even think of doing what you go through. Thank you for showing us what is possible.
Thanks Jack. It may look like hard work but it's also so much fun!
Thanks. I'm keen to try this one.
You're most welcome. I'd love to see what you try!
@@creativephotofolk I'll see what I can do.
Thank you Haley for tips and fun projects but also most importantly INSPIRATION!🥰
Aw, thanks Carol.
HI.. hayley, good tips...
Thank you so much!
Interesting, thank you!
Most welcome Jack :)
None of my digital cameras can do double or multiple exposures but Snapseed Application can with my iPhone PMax. It’s even better when you can swipe the subject and remove the surrounds and get a cleaner picture. Thank you, nice video, loved the first image of the first mode. Thanks again.
Sorry I only just saw this comment! Thanks for sharing the tip. Being able to remove the surroundings certainly sounds handy.
Thank you Hayley. You provided some really good tips. I am inspired to give this a try.
Brilliant! Glad you found it useful.
Thank you for mentioning about holding "control" while cropping so it's more precise. I've been using PS for almost 20 years and I had no idea about that trick! If I needed to crop out just a little, I always zoomed way in so that the bounding box wasn't moving at such large increments. What a helpful bit of info!
Oh I'm so glad you benefitted from that! I very nearly edited that bit out at the last minute so I'm glad I kept it in. ☺
That second phone idea is interesting to me. A third option to personal photo inventory and stock photos is to use an AI such as Fooocus to get content. Thanks for this video.
Welcome! Thanks for watching. :)
Thank you! Would like to give you 3 thumbs-up for this! 😊
I appreciate your numerous thumbs!
Great video, especially for us 90 year olds that shoot mostly flowers indoors. This should add some variety. Thank you.
Haha this gave me a chuckle. Thanks so much @AZJack. 😂
Great photos and beautiful dog.
Thank you from us both! 🐕🦺
I've used path blur to remove the tapering of the motion blur. Also allows curves in the blur. A bit better in some cases
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I plan to include that in my advanced Adamski tutorial. :)
Thank you!
Welcome!
Thanks! Great examples, and shown in such a way that can help me to learn Photoshop better.
That's the goal! Thanks for watching. ☺
There are some good techniques in this. I think most people looking to get into doing this already know PS pretty well” and don’t need the first 13 minutes. That said, you did explain things well. Minor tweaks aside, I think your results are excellent. Keep at it!
Thanks so much Martin! I totally relate to what you're saying but I like to teach every technique from the ground up so no one feels excluded as it's impossible to know where everyone's skills are at. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!
Nobody cares about your opinion / know it all
fun stuff!! 🌟🌟 simple paper folds and cool lighting definitely make for some lovely abstracts
Thanks, definitely! Of the many projects I've tried this was one of the most surprising.
THANKS
WELCOME
Super tutorial, thanks for sharing. I'd love to get a magnifier on the area being worked, how do you manage that please Hayley?
Hi Sue - thank you! This is the question I get asked the most but unfortunately it's not good news. The magnifier is in my video editing software, Camtasia to highlight whatever my mouse is doing. But it would be an extremely popular feature if Adobe decided to include it!
Awesome thanks
I have tried signing up but once I put in my details and hit the button it says page not found
Oh thanks for letting me know! The form is working so I can see you have signed up. It's just the page it's linking to is down. I'll fix that up now. Thanks again.
Hi Hayley. You certainly put the work in, which gave you great results. Perhaps food colouring would work, and be more environmentally friendly when pouring the waste down the sink. I also wonder whether medicinal alcohol or methylated spirits would give some interesting results. Thanks for the great video, looking forward to trying this.
Hi David. I like your line of thinking - always worth trying! I actually teach a method using food colouring in my Photo Fun Addicts course but I find it spreads out a lot more. It's still cool - a bit like marbling - but a different effect. Have fun experimenting!

I'm sorry but to me the subjects in your images don't work as they are just floating on the image. You need to ground them to look more effective
Is that Hayley that was on Norfolk Island in 2019?
Haha yes indeed Wade!
Now, That was VERY interesting and great inspiration to a new way of taking pictures, keep up your great work 😊
Oh thank you! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. ❤
Thanks
Welcome

Great teacher !!!
Thank you! ❤
Great video!! Good dog!!
Thank you and high fives!
Thank you for the insight and encouragement. Love your work.
Thanks for all your support Jack!
Wow, Hayley, this is certainly a stunning image. Love how varied your creativity is. ❤
Thank you so much Gaby!
I’m really liking your work! Awesome stuff. If I may ask, when you say that your images have done really well, are you able to sustain yourself by selling these in galleries? I’m new to this world so would love to hear from a pro 😊
Thanks so much! The answer is yes and no. I've put very little effort into the art side of things since 2020 as all my time is now focused on teaching photography/Photoshop. Saying that I still make 5 figures a year selling art for zero effort so I'm quite sure I could make a lot more if it was my sole focus. Sometimes I wish I'd stuck with it rather than branching out.
Great idea, can’t wait to try it, thank you!
That was so great, love your tutorials, clear, precise and not too fast. Many thanks.
Thank you so much Kay! That's what I strive for so I'm delighted to hear you feel that way. :)
Looks fun
It is!
Great video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching :)
I am so happy after this Video, thanks a lot for the inspiring ideal! It is eggxellent!
You crack me up!
Great tutorial but can I ask is that a feature with the magnifying glass you used to zoom in on the selected subject Thanks Mark
Thanks Mark! I use a video editing program that allows me to magnify my mouse so it's easier to see. But it's not a Photoshop feature. Is that what you're referring to?
@@creativephotofolk i was yes but thank you
Cool. I learned some new techniques. I’ve done similar things in Photoshop just using clipping masks and blending modes. I would definitely give this a try but my old iMac has called it quits. Time for a new computer.
Sorry to hear about your computer! Blend modes didn't seem to work for this so lots of experimenting required. You could probably also make a brush out of a brush stroke and use it on a layer mask. Might try that next!
Lots of ideas bouncing around in my head now. Hope to be able to get back to creating things soon - this will be top of the list to experiment with. Thanks Hayley!
@@heathersheldrick9751 You're welcome Heather! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Could you kindly explain your process for disposing of the paint, oil, and milk that remained in the scrap bucket after you completed your project? It's important to handle these substances properly, and I'm curious to learn how you safely managed their disposal, as pouring them down the sink is generally not recommended.
Thanks for asking. This concerned me too. I poured some sand from my sandbags into the container, sealed it up and sent it to the tip. But if there's a better way I'd like to know it. I've been meaning to ask my painter friends what they do, so thanks for the reminder. This is why I prefer to make art in Photoshop - far less mess!
This has been super fun to play with! Great tutorial. Have modified two images and love it so far. Thanks!
Yay, I'm glad you're enjoying this one. I'd love to see your results.
