Thank you for sharing this! I was to these places 40 years ago. It is nice to see some of the changes/improvements that have been made. Of course, not all of the changes were good but I guess that’s “progress”.

Steven, I was bitten by a poisonous one when I was nine years old and today I am 68. Until it has happened to you you will never understand the pain you have to go through. Without quick medical attention you are a goner. Respect those slimy buggers and they will respect you , don't mess with them.

@@johncee853 I have read. There’s actually a video of Steve Erwin who was an expert on snakes, talk about that very thing you refuse to believe. Snakes are not capable of feelings or recognizing someone as if it were a house pet. They eat, they hunt, they shit and they sleep. I think he knew what he was talking about this is not me saying it

PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THE ELEPHANTS BY RIDING THEM. The sanctuary will say it's okay but it's NOT. THE ELEPHANT NATURE PARK IN TAILAND IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. IN AFRICA THE DAVID SHELDRIK WILDLIFE FOUNDATION IN KENYA IS ALSO THE BEST OF THE BEST. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK, THE ELEPHANTS NEED YOU TO AND I KNOW ELEPHANT LOVERS WANT THE BEDT FOR THESE PRECIOUS ANIMALS.

They are so adorably precious and beautiful . When they grow-up and have their own personalities, Which you don’t have a clue . One thing is for sure, they love to bite. Wombats are not a pet!!! You need to know what you are feeding them so they can survive and have a healthy future. Wombats are God’s creations. We need to respect them . So many wombats get hit by drivers and left , people are not held accountable for their actions. Then wombats face mange, as well as the flooding and bushfires.

Hi Hera, thank you for your comment. You are absolutely correct - orphan wombats should only be raised by properly qualified wildlife carers like the lady in the video. They need plenty of room to roam around. This video was from a few years ago and I am pleased to report this wombat grew up happy and healthy and was returned to the wild.
