Apparently the cats are 1/12, but the riders and dinos and dragons are 1/18. But he kept bringing up 1/12 lines, so its a little confusing. They are cool though.
Yeah. So there are a couple of different scales in there.
Metamorpho reminds me of that original Star Trek character I forget his name but it was one of the beings they visit. They look really good!

I could be wrong but I think that with exception to the headsculpt, the body is 100% reuse of the Starfire figure.
Possibly. I don't have the Starfire figure yet, so I can't tell for sure. Good eye if that is the case.
@@AshleyWilbanks Wish McFarlane would have used a generic female body which could later be used for other female figures with minimal costume details.

@@AshleyWilbanks that wasn't all my friend or I did though. We interacted in the group more than you did and you would have banned us for posting two videos in the same day.
I guess I should probably interact more shouldn’t I? Maybe post a welcome message to new members every Friday? Respond to users posts, perhaps I don’t know maybe do the job of moderating the group, accepting and rejecting new members, posting links to new pr-orders, constantly responding to the complaints of everyone who gets their feelings hurt because they cannot read simple rules. Sure, I will give it some thought about contributing more.

I’ve heard you’ve booted people from your McFarlane group for sharing their video content but I can see you’re more than happy to “spam” your own. Top guy. Disliked.
Well obviously you don’t understand why they were booted.
When a person just posts their KZread videos, doesn’t contribute to the group at all besides videos, and gets warned twice and continues to do it, then yes, they get removed. The group is not a place to advertise your KZread channel. But if you want that to be your flex, by making this comment, then good for you.
@@AshleyWilbanks you tried to boot my friend for posting an occasional video in the group and he participated otherwise all the time. I then started posting his videos because I posted and commented even more than him and you still tried to ban me so don't be lying. You post in that group less than either of us so you're a hypocrite. They don't make money off of these videos they're reviewing on topic figures. How is that not relevant to the group? Posting the same picture of figures hanging on Target shelves over and over is quality content though? Lol

@@AshleyWilbanks the name is Nick and I deleted that account. You reversed the ban for that but then permanently banned me for telling off another player for being a dick. I don't care, I don't want to be in your fascist group that you use for compensating for whatever makes you feel small. And my friend would have told me if he had a warning but regardless I didn't get a warning. You banned me without warning. Tell me how posting review videos is bad? You get mad if you link a video that isn't your own. How is that not better content than taking the same pictures of figures hanging on Target shelves without saying where it is. Apparently you don't want competition with your own videos even though again people don't do it to make money but to actually contribute to the community. Taking the same pictures of shelves isn't contributing.

Ngl, seeing a fig from this older Spinmaster line is kind of throwing me for a loop. Like, realky the Grapnel is the onlt accessory of hers that makes sense. I guess the armor is nice. But the scythes is weird and feels like they belong to a villain figure. Another example of Spinmaster making a good figure with poor accessories
Totally agree, but they are marketed toward kids in their defense. I guess they think kids will like those better?
This Firefly is a great example of a big problem with Spinmaster figs: you either get an alright figure with food accessories, or a poor figure with good accessories. This Firefly, with his flamethrower accessories, is great. The mask accessory is a weird choice, feels like it belongs more with a Batman figure I'm reminded of Blue Beetle and Deathstroke. Blue Beetle is a great figure, but his accessories make him heavy in whichever direction he's holding them and can make him fall easiky while standing. While Deathstroke, on the other hand, has limited pose-ability, with his shoulder pads, while having good accessories that work for any other SpinMaster or 1:16 scale figure. It's kind of upsetting that Deathstroke can't move his arms as freely as other SpinMaster figs
Did they make movie Blue Beetle figures or just an evergreen type Blue Beetle?
@@AshleyWilbanks honestly, it's hard to tell. The figure looks like it could easily be either based on the movie or just a general design for Blue Beetle

I remember getting a used G2 Megatron with the box at TF con whenever I was eight. I don’t have it anymore, but I really wish I did because that was my childhood Megatron.
Never had Starscream either, but I had armada thundercracker as the starscream that I had as a kid, I got it on the same day with this Megatron. I’ve always pictured them having the same dynamic as the original Megatron and starscream.

Barry I think is still Flash too, don't quote me, I am only up through about issue 7 of the current run.

Kenner Super Powers figures aren’t even the same size as each other!
It's not about the same height, it's about scale. For instance, Superman is supposedly 6'3, while Batman is 6'2, Martian Manhunter 6'7, Nightwing 5'10, etc...
Why do the characters have to be the same height? People are all different heights and so are comic book characters.
They don't have to be the same height, but keep it similar to canon.
I do like like the books those come with. There’s some good information in them.
Yeah, I think it will be neat if I complete them. Really thinking about canceling at this point though.
I guess they could be henchmen for Beastman.

A little over two feet I believe.
How heavy is it so far, is it mostly metal or plastic?
right now, it is about 60/40 plastic as far as everything I have. Now just this leg piece... Mostly metal. It is fairly heavy. I imagine this thing will most likely way about 15 pounds or so when finished?

All that cash for all those parts just for a foot. It’s very nicely detailed but I’d pass on this. At least it’s heavy for stability

Good review...!! You're sure right about the capes... c-clamps ... around the neck. That needs a little work...!! Too much material...!! Yes, ... too bad we don't get the pin-less legs... we should.!! Some of the McFarlane figures do not fit with our kenner figures. They are too big...that's terrible..!! Too bad Hal Jordan-Green Lantern IS a little bit too small.!! Love the 'first appearance' Brainiac... but you're right. Brainiac might be a little small, too.!!

I’ve been very much enjoying this line. It helps that I don’t have any original Super Powers so these stand on their own and they’re only $10. My only real complaint is the constant repaints and the lack of villains. Especially Batman villains. We have so many versions of Batman now but no Batman villains.
I agree, we do need more villains, but I am liking the upcoming wave’s selection.
I love the different types of characters. I hope they hit us with some old western style figures
A lot of the inspiration comes from their Eagle Force line, so I would say, that is a possibility.
