Music from Australia and New Zealand in the year 1979:
After a couple of copyright strikes I've decided to remove all my videos on every nzoz channel. I didn't do this to spite the subscribers and/or those who champion my channels. I did this because building these channels and facing the risk of having one account terminated has been a little stressful. I've also grown annoyed with how little material I have to show with each channel.
I do understand the importance of copyright and I respect the wishes of artists and am not interested in causing violation whatsoever. However, as somebody who is passionate about archiving these videos, and displaying them in a chronological (hence; each account being based on a year) I find it disheartening and stressful having a channel being put at risk by a copyright strike.
I assure you, my channels will make a come back in the future. As for now, I got a life to live.

How the fuck did i never hear this? Oh yeah, America.
this is one of few songs i come back to in an effort to survive the death of my husband.
All are so talented in their own . Great combo ❤
They have so many brilliant songs 💙
I’m thinking of suicide…..
I think I should kill my self
Dead kids
He's coming for you on a dark dark night
Great song
It a good song
In 1995 this song saved me from at least one self harm attempt. Shout out to Triple J for keeping this song in rotation for suicidal Millennials
We had our shit together bad then......... Now everything would go off to China....
The Oz/Kiwi music scene in the early 70's till Mid 80's was amazing. Two reasons, there was a band in every pub playing till 3am and Molly...
Awesome
I saw them about a dozen times. Like lots of bands they changed my viewpoint on things. But they couldn't change the fear of coming out because others stopped that from happening.
So much quality in this music very greatful to be in Australia to witness this music growing up ❤
This band had such a great guitar sound. Really catchy but with a dirty edge.
Young Australians djs think it's a Ed sherin or choirboys song😢😢😢😢
Sad that he is gone 😢
Saw them do this in a pokey little pub in Adelaide, a memorable experience
Amazing song writing skills... I love this artist... Hope I can see you for my first time on your BIG 50 Tour!!!
Funky sounding Enz
Great chorus 👌
Is this zoomed and cropped?
I say this because the lead-in framed the guitar intro and the band before close-up of nick, Almost black and white tones back then. To be fair the audio always had a clipped intro where you give us what happened at the start. Swings and roundabouts.
@@Forgottenson3934 Just compared to the version on a VHS I have. as well as many part doco that was included with all the remastered rereleases of the albums. This is correct to the copy I have, I think it was just poorly shot. Only other alternative is that they used bootleg clips for both the VHS and the Bad Seeds remaster bonus disks, which may not be impossible since reusing tape to cut down on costs was common back in the day
@@necro5129 Cheers for that
One of the Best Australian bands ever.
Met him friends he was fucked guess the rest
THEY ARE ON TOUR IN AUSTRALIA 2024!
Australia's finest.
I remember seeing this on Countdown......pure positive energy!
cute
Brilliant. I love Daryl Braithwaite. Always raised the bar on good music !!
rage on I.J
R.I.P. you absolute GENIUS Ignatius and to Joylene who passed last year. Surely, the most INNOVATIVE band to challenge Australia. 67 is too young, Ignatius deserved another 20 years!!! So heartbreaking xoxoxo
Vale Iggy- Total Legend- Thanks for the Funxxxx
Supported Jimmy And The Boys at the Lifesaver. In the bandroom after we finished our set, some guys in the headline band (can't remember who) asked us if we wrote the final song in our set, the song we always finished with because we'd go completely beserk, screaming and thrashing our instruments in the manner that the song deserved. To us it was the first punk song, it was the punk anthem. "No we didn't write it, it's the flipside of Sunny Afternoon...you know, the Kinks? We shoulda kept our big mouths shut. We hated their discofying the Punk Anthem - it's a travesty really - but Iggy was a very funny front man and the band was pretty slick.
First and best track, fantastic guitar, classic riff and sound.Mr Briggs certainly knew what he was doing
No more bands like this Rip pinoy bro
He was frigging Awsome rip pinoy bro
RIP Ignatius....you made it different.
Saw Nick perform this live last night. Absolutely transcendent.
That's cool man. I thought Nick didn't like his early material anymore.
Where? Wild god launch tour is soon
@@Forgottenson3934 he's doing a solo tour right now and he's playing this song in the encore. I heard it tonight in Belgrade :)
@@strahinja.obradovic I have to wait a bit longer as I live almost on the other side the planet below your feet🙂
Smoking Lucky Strikes with a coffee in the morning while making bacon and eggs and this was playing on the hi fi system, I can say this is one of the best memories of my youthful self
Thanks for the crazy music Ignatius RIP 7/5/2024 fly high!
Vale 1957---2024
Such fond memories of watching Countdown during this era. Always liked Ignatius Jones-a real character.
R.I.P. Ignatius, yet another star (who was definitely not like everybody else) has left us; I didn't really know of him, but I am sorry he is gone.
RIP Iggy Great times back in the eighties Jimmy and the boys rocked 👍
🌟🎶Rest In Peace Ignatius Jones🎶🌟😢
Frankly, I preferred IJ and this band to Cold Chisel - far more entertaining, as were The Angels under Doc Neeson. Thanks for the memories, Ignatius, and RIP.
