Thank you if you do buy one I would suggest buying them direct from light railway stores as that way if you want it customised for you can talk to them directly about it. Where as Rails Of Sheffield I believe are just doing the clean versions

She looks fantastic! The weathering certainly looks better than I expected, considering it was optional and not a variant like I have seen Hornby and Bachmann do. I'm presuming they took a ready-made model and applied the weathering after the rest of the paintwork had been done so to see it not being overdone or barely noticeable is fantastic to see. The nameplates also look fantastic, really crisp and fantastically painted. A great model befitting of a great review, well done

Yes it is a speedo. If that wasn't there then I am sure they would know somehow, a lot of steam locos on other heritage railways don't have speedos.

What a lovely mixture of locos,2890 looks very old as did the first one. Enjoyed 👏🏻👍

Looks can be deceiving 2890 is a austerity 0-6-0st rebuilt in to a tender engine. Where as Caledonian Railway 828 is a victorian loco and is over a 100 years old. Fun fact 2890 is meant to look like Douglas from Thomas The Tank Engine and 828 is the real life basis for Donald and Douglas who appeared in Thomas The Tank Engine

I disagree about the gloves as I have had them for years and they are still holding up well compared to some other gloves I have had. The unconfident hand I will agree with because I have never done anything like that before
