I need this mycorrhizal fungi
I wish you put this out sooner. I would have bought some. I did Italian rye grass, forage collards, fixation balansa clover, spring barley, and flax. Then, I had leftover seeds of oats, buckwheat, hairy vetch, spring peas, and triticale which the only thing that really grew was peas and vetch. I did put a lot of oats seed in but that was probably too old to make any kind of stand.
You lost me at glyphosate.
Just add dirt to the low spot, or a tile.
A friend recommended planting german millet for ground cover in north central Oklahoma; he is originally from Minnesota and holds a doctorate in agronomy while having decades of experience. It is summer here now and in late August seed will be planted to Fall crop. Thanks for video

What rate would you plant forage grain in with the Italian Rye Grass? Thanks for videos Justin
Hi, I live in Lancaster Virginia and i want to plant alpha and orchard grass for my goats sheep and cow. Could I plant this in my area. I was told by a friend that alpha won't grow if I plant it in the field and that there are farmers that grow alpha because it's a special seed that just a plain Ole hobby farmer can't grow. Is that accurate.

Through which natural process doe prussic acid leave the dead grass?
It outgases from the plants or cut forage... but it takes a few days, week to be safe
What happens in the winter? Does it just stop growing and turn brown or does it completely fall over? Was thinking about using it also around my fence for privacy throughout the year too.
It's a summer annual, dies out over winter. leaves go eventually stalks fall over

Thought this was not recommended for grass because of Prussia acid I hope the acid is right
Typically that’s when it’s short and young. Also you want to blend when you feed to animals I use brome.

Once the plant is dead and dry can it be grazed over winter?
Yes once you give it a week to outgas the Prussic acid. If it has high nitrates, then you should test it and determine the best course of action... might require baling it and mixing it with non-high nitrate forage to dilute the nitrates to safe levels for the animals eating it.
So is this cut for silage or is it / can it be cut for round bales?

Triticale is an annual crop, so regrowth in the spring is unlikely. However, you could dormant seed triticale in the fall and it will germinate and grow the following spring.

Would have liked more information on these. For instance what zones each are best in. Soil pH preferences and really wish you'd showed the dried seeds. Glad you posted the video though.
