get 20 of these and you can make as much horsepower as a trabant
Did you use 1/2 inch tubing in the ground for the sprinklers
Yes
You probably do you can put a bottom drain on a above ground pool
Yes, but I wouldn’t on these throw away pools.
@@SWMOWoodsman what do you mean throw pools away?
Throw away pools, IE Intex, Bestway, Coleman and Polygroup. They don’t last more than a few years before they fall apart, so I call them throw-away pools
@@SWMOWoodsman those pumps are throwaways. Also you can’t find parts for it. I was on bestway website. that website was really hard to navigate. There are no separate parts for filtration system had to go onto the pools to actually find a parts for the filtration system compared to Intex. Intex has separate parts list for items and poly group stay away from the bestway corporate website.
I have a question for you. Do you know anything about pool drain covers?
I sure don’t. Sorry! I’ve only ever had above ground pools and none of them have had main floor drains.
@@SWMOWoodsman ok
xtreme power US pool pump is the same thing as a a Harris and a swim line by Hydro tools they’re all both of the same pumps and vervo and proline they all shared the same parts same horsepowers they also have a 2 hp. Also, you can’t get a Hayward above ground pool pump in a 2 hp only has a one and one half and the extreme US. You have single speed and a dual speed version and a variable speed version for above ground pools, also have a xtreme pool pump smaller one for the pop-up pool it’s a 3/4 hp
It still works, it’s just too small and underpowered for this size pool. It’s a 18x48.
@@SWMOWoodsman you can use the pool pump for other uses except for a pool use as a pool pump can use it to drain water and a basement or can also use it if you have a garden
@Haywardpowerflolx the old pump will be on standby just in case something happens to the current pump.
I have the same clock, same movement slighty different maple cabinet with flutes on the sides.. maybe a 1985 model. Mine was supposidly completely rebuilt about 5 years ago but when striking 1200 oclock it chimes correctly but only counts once. All other numbers are correct. Triple Chimes function as they should. He was supposed to come back and correct it but........... Sound has only gottern better with age as I bought it new in 1985. An heirloom for sure though kids ( grandkids ) aren't as interested in it as I was.. A real shame..
Ever plan on a Canadian setup?
I may do that someday.
@@SWMOWoodsman if you need help all the pulls are edwards bilingual or simplex and the sounders are bells or any horn strobe that's CSA certified
Cool test! The strobes picked up well on camera. I for some reason think Simplex is overdue on an LED replacement for the SmartSync and Free Run TrueAlert and QuickAlert but honestly it still takes a lot of time and effort am I right?
Simplex has an LED TrueAlert but I am not super fond of the way those look
@@SWMOWoodsmanI feel like it's the single gang TrueAlert ES Horn strobes that have the horn off centered very similarly to the oldest QuickAlert. I also don't like that they are addressable.
@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554 Yes, that’s what those are.
@@SWMOWoodsman I wished Simplex would be able to make a lift up version where the horn is not off centered as well as making conventional versions (both 2 and 4 wire models) as well as making retrofit models to replace any other xenon TrueAlerts and TrueAlert ESs out there.
Is it brand new siren?
No, it is from around 1977. It was refurbished prior to installation.
Oh thanks
Is that adaptahorn being used?
Not at the moment, no
When that happened to you should’ve said this is why we do system test
I was thinking that the entire time

Where is the Warren located?

Interesting. I need to head back out there someday.
Nice 1000t and allertor ambience at the start
I agree. This town’s system gives one of the best ambiences I have ever heard.
Same with fair grove and Kimberling city and a lot of Missouri towns with sirens that do attack.
@CarLover310 Kimberling City’s is pretty awesome too
0:00 I see an AR/AF Timer.
That would be my AR timer, lol
WELCOME TO THE PARTY, MARJORIE!!!
Cool siren!
Thank you for having for a system test!
It's real😊
I've been throw this because i live in republic mo
Nice. I lived there back in 2005. Nice little town.
3T22 : HEY IS MY BROTHER :)
SIRENS ARENT ALIVE
Remember when you used to post tornado siren videos
Yup, I do.
@@SWMOWoodsman when will you do it again 😊
I haven’t filmed a siren since 2021, unfortunately I don’t have plans to in the future. I’m just not into it anymore.
@@SWMOWoodsman oh okay I understand
Once you've learned the bass, it sounds SO good dude. Good job!
i love burger king

Ghastly echo. Love it
It's so cute!
Ya i like 2t22 siren
Beer Missouri Whelen
h’wut.
Happy birthday late
My grandmother’s clock sounds like this but it is Howard Miller
I believe all the major clock manufacturers (Ridgeway/Howard Miller, Sligh/Trend, Ethan Allen, etc.) all used the same general chime rods. Aside from Urgos.
Be safe
I was looking around the Internet to see if Mt Vernon had a siren as I just moved here and this was the first solid confirmation i found. Glad to know we have one just not sure if I'm in hearing range of it.
Mt. Vernon has 4 of these if I’m not mistaken. You should be able to hear them pretty well. They have 6 or 7 (?) sirens in total.
Wail
Hi-lo
gosh that pitch is all over the place. still beautiful.
Booked tobacco by the light of these before.
I hear a K5HL.
Yep, we lived about half a mile from the tracks here. It was a common sound to hear, lol.
@@SWMOWoodsman I've always liked the sounds of the K5HL, especially the third gen/raised letter ones. They sound so badass imo

This has got to be the highest pitched sentry 14V I have ever heard
240v 3 phase is nice, lol.
Those Whelen sirens are creepy from a distance.
Believe you me, they sent chills down my spine when they wound up.
Es un sonido de tornado Sirens 😮😮
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
omg
Nice!
Why the siren having red light when blare start??
It is to aid in visual notification when the siren is sounding.
@@SWMOWoodsman I'm siren enthusiast
It's like formula 1 😅
Sounds awesome! I would just take my hearing aids out, and i could still hear it🤔❗
Likely! This thing is crazy loud.
THAT CD YELLOW LOOKS COOL ON THAT VORTEX I LOVE IT
