  I lived in new Orleans for 5 years , I was hooked on heroin when I moved there, I stayed in the 3rd ward on MLK and liberty St. In the 8th ward on music and prieur. And a few places in mid city on north Lopez and also on Palmyra. I witnessed several shootings and one murder during Mardi gras in 2019 . I moved away in June and I have been sober 4.5 years now. I love Nola but it is very dangerous and you can lose your life very easily
