    Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this video. I am now driving the EQA for almost three years and I am still thankful for having the option to not use the touchscreen and instead having the touchpad at the center console or those little touchpads on the steering wheel to operate the screens. You can easily adjust the sensitivity in the settings to make sure you have just the right comfort that fits you the best. Consider that not being forced to use the touchscreen makes you sit much more comfortable as you dont have to lean foward to reach the screen. I have recently tested the 2024 facelift model with the removed touchpad at the center console and the all new steering wheel which honestly didnt make you feel as premium as before. I felt like its a downgrade. The new steering in particular with touch features for the most part didnt make me feel as comfortable as before. Over all I can absolutely recommend the 2021/2022 EQA as a daily driver with high comfort and amazing infotainment experience after over 30.000km.

    How many EV fires per 100 EVs vs ICE fires per 100 ICE cars? Probably way more EV fires.

    I have a Ohme home charger with Octopus Agile and tomorrow between 12 and 4 i can charge my car for less than 4.5p an kwh. So i will get about 80-90 miles and it will cost me pennies Ive had my car 3 months this weekend and driven nearly 1800 miles. It has cost me about £45 instead of the £200 it would have done

    LEAF (even the e+ featured here) is not a long-range EV but it's great for commuting and 'normal' driving of up to 200 miles in a day. If you really want to do 300+ mile journeys regularly, look at an EV with CCS charging and a larger usable battery capacity. LEAF is great if you can charge at home overnight and only need about 100-200 miles range each day. Then you don't need to worry about pulic charging at all most of the time.

    Sir. Are you sure you're giving "accurate numbers"?? I drove one of these (Mokes) in the US last week and they only go 25 MPH with a range of 40 miles. That's the reason I didn't buy one because I would get run over by going too slow. I didn't mind the 40 mile range but only going 25 MPH sucks.!!

    64kwh x £0.83=£53.12 for full charger, if you r bp subscribe member will cost you 64kwh x £0.69=£44.16 Every time u just x times battery capacity and unite price electric very expensive and too much worrying.

    I considered the ID.3 Pro S and ordered one in October 2021. Then I waited and waited and waited. Cancelled my order and went for a secondhand i3. I’ve since changed that though. I felt the ID.3 was really good when I test drove it. But the infotainment system was dreadful. I’ve followed its progress and it seems a lot better than it was. And looking at this video it really has become a far better car. Great video BTW.

    this is my thought to...... i can get £20 in fuel and easily do 200 miles - also normally they are 70p per kw at the rapid chargers so this would be £40 for 200 mile range ? Stupid if you ask me lol

  • @Williamjjp
    @Williamjjp16 күн бұрын

    @@HoaxPolice yes I saw a rapid charger at 77p per KW/h off the motor way, as expensive if not more expensive than petrol per mile. Make sense if charging from home but everywhere else is quite expensive.

    In 2019, there were 32000 evs registered in London and 2.6 million cars altogether. For anyone with basic maths, that means that EVs are approximately twice as likely to catch fire than petrol or diesel. Morons.

  • @markhutton6055
    @markhutton6055Ай бұрын

    Diesel my arse. Diesels don't jet out like that and dont burn with a crimson flame, the colour Lithium burns with. Any damage to the battery will cause a chemical fire. The mix of chemicals in the battery ignite in air or water. Diesel is NOT a flammable liquid. Did you compare the number of EVs against ICEVs?

    Refreshing to listen to and watch a real driver starting a review with an open mind, instead of the Telegraph and Daily Mail approach of what outlandish thing can't be done in this car. I wonder if your Dad sat down and did the calculation - I can do 700 miles in one tank in my Tiguan, which costs me £120 to fill up. If he plugs in at home, and buys his electricity from the UKs favourite provider, his fuel costs will work out at about 2p a mile, so his 700 miles would cost him only £14. So, if he does 7000 miles a year, his fuel costs will be £1060 less per year. Leaving aside the lower servicing costs, and the fact that he's not poisoning the driver behind, or wrecking the climate for his grandchildren.
