  Last year I went the other way around to see both of Cock Sparrer's 50th-anniversary shows at the Roundhouse in Camden Town. This time I drove 12h from Cologne to Berlin and then 9h back to Wiesbaden to see both of Rancid's club shows in GER. I wouldn't say the crowds over here were better than the ones in the UK. The thing with Rancid is, people (at least in GER) only seem to know the songs of AOCTW. When Sparrer plays, everybody in the room is singing along to every goddamn song. That's why - to me - the CS anniversary experience was even a tiny bit better than seeing the first club shows of my all-time fav band in 11 years. But both were just great. I've seen a lot but these 4 shows were the very best I've EVER witnessed in my life
