Not really, it's one of the most thinly populated areas in Denmark
@ncard0010 ай бұрын
It would, trains develop cities, cause people know the train will be there forever, unlike busses which can be cancelled the next day. Why all lines should be electrified, double tracked, speed upgraded, and in time, driverless, so we don’t have to pay drivers to drive the trains, as frequency increases, and it allows for 24/7 operation.

I love this! Great footage. Japan always likes to continue using the older stocks and it makes sense actually - their trains really are made to last long. You just need to clean it and then spruce it up with some newer tech, and it's all good to go. That's why Japan is such a icon for most train lovers like me. They know how to make a good train and they don't waste good design even if it's outdated since not everything has to be new.

Did an exact measurement at the pedestrian bridge at Breda Prinsenbeek station. The overheadwire pole before and after the bridge are 65m apart, and the train passes them in 20 frames. 20 frames at 25 fps -> 0.8 seconds; 65m at 0.8s = 81,25 m/s => 292,5 km/h which is pretty much the top speed
@Oliver1997Physics Жыл бұрын
