It's certainly alright for someone who is just interested in giving vinyl LP a try. I only have a few used records. But an inexpensive turntable like this is exactly what many people need if they just want to give vinyl LP a try. You CAN ALWAYS upgrade later if decide this is something you want to get more invested in.

Hi Pebbles, thanks for sharing your experience, we are purchasing our first home with DRB Homes in VA. We are not closed yet, but after reading all the bad reviews online about this builder, I am a bit hesitant. Just wondering if you are still living in the same house and how is your experience after a few years have passed?

Hi :) If you see this, are you still working as an SLP? I'd love to hear more about your career or career changes and your experiences. I've heard a lot of people can get burned out early in the medical side especially, so I'm curious how that went for you, and if you were in different settings or different populations.

I stand corrected. You're absolutely right. These are also dubbed sea salt/concrete. The ones i was talking about are titled Sea salt, and they have hits of tan on them plus a Turquoise bubble on the tongue. I had to more research on the difference between the 2. Like I said before, very dope kicks regardless🔥💯

Dope kicks and good review but these aren't the Sea Salt 9060. These pairs are pretty much new release bcuz the sea salts are over a year old and not available for retail anymore.

Hi! I saved my down payment. I am also wondering how much do you need out of pocket for a house? Say it’s $ 100,000 you need 20,000 down payment then what other costs?

Why do women do galentines instead of just going to a singles event to try to get. a man? It's like celebrating singlesness which most women don't want to be.

Since I was in 4th grad my biggest role model was my 4th grade teacher who was a member and after learning so much about the org- I knew that it aligned with everything I aligned with. I also volunteered like crazy before going to college. My 1st year (freshman year) covid hit and I stopped volunteering as much. 2 years fly by and in my junior year I thought I wouldn’t be able to pledge because I didn’t have many volunteer hours and I thought it would look bad not having many. Nonetheless I still tried and was ONE PAPER WORK short of even going through with anything. I cried and cried because I felt like senior year was all or nothing. I wanted to- not only pledge but- experience the undergrad experience of a sorority. For some odd reason, my school or any of D9 for that matter did a fall or spring line. I cried so hard. But I just took that as it just wasn’t my time to pledge undergrad. I’m almost 1 year post-grad (spring ‘23) and since freshman year, I knew I wanted to get my masters- I’m thinking about pledging a grad chapter. I think I was scared because I know grad chapters are more serious and I kind of grow at my own pace learning along the way and I feel like I always have to pretend to be perfect around adults but nonetheless I think I’m just realizing that every chapter follows the same thing, the only difference is maturity. Videos like this give me so much hope and knowledge ! Thanks 💕

We just purchased and moved into one of their homes about 7 months ago. Moved in from out of state. Had our realtor deal with everything and we did virtual tours and all of that. We experienced some of the things you experienced and are still experiencing them. The home design is absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family. Thankfully, the neighbors surrounding us are awesome. HOWEVER, note to any future home buyers moving from out of state: please make sure you are able to travel to the site prior to closing! You do the inspection walk through! You can’t see everything on Zoom! There is so much sloppy work done in here and I wouldn’t have closed until it was fixed. Mind you, our realtor and inspector caught a lot! I really trusted my realtor and believe he did the best he could. But your realtor isn’t you…they aren’t going to see everything you do! Now we’ve been putting in work order after work order. Still not getting everything because I get tired of people in my house all the time and some of the contractors are great but some will do the bare minimum or sloppiest job. You have to stay on top of it. Then DRB will come in and do sloppy stuff too. Also, we showed our realtor some things that had to be fixed after we moved in from the west coast to the south east, and he was like, “It was not like this when I was in here.” So, like someone said in the comments, the contractors will come in and mess up what has been done! They had come in I guess doing touch ups and messed up stuff! But I still blame DRB! The PM should look at all this before signing off on it! When we talked to him, he would try to fix it or have someone come out but he would try to minimize everything! I won’t tell you everything because it would be exhausting typing all of this. But things are done sloppy and some materials are cheap. Now, are these things “normal” for new construction/new builds? I keep hearing they are. I keep hearing that unless you get a custom built home that these experiences actually are normal. They don’t make homes like they used to. They are throwing them up real fast. However, it doesn’t make it acceptable. I do love my house. It is so pretty! But I do wish I could have been here and took my time and watched things being done. When moving across country and trying not to keep paying rent and having to plan flights l, movers, car being shipped, and all that, it put us in a situation where we couldn’t be as thorough. I think the homes are good as long as you know what to expect. It’s not a custom build. But I think it depends on your PM and how he or she makes sure all are doing their job well. Also, you just have to stay on top of them. We are three women and I think with us moving from out of state and us being women, the people we worked with tried to take advantage of that. But we stay on top of them in our warranty! We do everything in writing. I will not let sloppiness go or be brushed off. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I am not downing all DRB homes at all. I really think it depends on the crew you get for your neighborhood. But be involved in the process, know your rights, and choose your neighborhood wisely.

From personal experience with Dan ryan builders, AKA DRB, I have some suggestions to those considering a house purchase from them. #1 Document EVERYTHING. #2 Have your purchase inspected at every stage of construction. #3 Do not close until EVERYTHING has been closely inspected and any issues resolved. DRB's claims of a 3rd party inspection is a scam. Just remember, you're not doing yourself any favors by ignoring this post.

Has anyone bought this in the past couple months? I move into my new house in a couple days in Vegas. I read that there warehouse is in Vegas so I'm assuming it will only take a few days to get to me. I'm 6'-4" though and from what I'm reading in the comments and what you've said, this may not be a good option for me. I don't mind getting up from a low position though. I was actually thinking of just doing my living room japanese or middle eastern style with floor mats. You lose your ability to squat if you don't do it often.

I see DRB (or Dan Ryan Builders) is the same as Ryans Home. Nothing has change. My first home was a new build from Ryans Home and all the material is the lowest acceptable grade and the workmanship is horrible. Countless problems. I have spent so much money on this little townhouse that I would have done better buying another home years ago. Constant cracking of drywall, countless outdoor bugs (crickets, etc.) the first 1 year was coming thru the foundation. Wrong thickness of drywall used on one side of the townhome. Firewall on one side between myself and another neighbor is missing. When the neighbor takes a shower I can feel the moisture in my room. I can hear the neighbor's tea kettle whistle and when they turn their alarm system on or off. It is very bad because this neighbor is not a good neighbor. Poor design overall. I had to reconfigure my kitchen because they had kitchen cabinets at awkward angles. One cabinet was so long that you could put your whole arm in and still never reach the back of the cabinet. I would not advise anyone to buy from DRB or Ryan Homes or D.R. Horton. They are throwing these homes together at great speed with little to no customer service. I brought another home (that I regret not keeping) and they gave the BEST customer service from beginning to end and their construction were outstanding. That was Bozzuto.
