    Finally someone who made it to the Va. border. Across that fencing is National Seashore with no cars allowed. I was just there 9-2 to 9-9 2023 and would go down there almost every morning. It's a whole different vibe from the NC side. Some nit wit in a White Chevy truck drove down every morning and let his 3 Rotweillers run free on the Va. side. Pretty scary when they are runnign towards you. Had a great time and made reservations for next year. Cheers.

    @@ibanalduntzinNo, this guy is right. Sofirn/Wurkkos absolutely destroys Olight in terms of offering equal performance for a much lower price. I recently picked up a few of their lights and was very pleased with their quality and performance. Also, many of their lights offer emitters which produce a better quality of tint and CRI which is something which Olight seems to be strongly against offering to us. The only thing is they just don't look as pretty.

    Hey, did you take that gravel road all the way around the lake? The one that was 1h 59 minutes long?? We are trying to figure out how to just get to the lake. And was there incoming traffic?

  • @irfanspace
    @irfanspace3 жыл бұрын

    thats the only way u can get in to lake ,when u go down from highway , after half of mile road goes towards left and thats for boats access or fishing and where i was flying drone u can stop and get to lake too , not sure about around lake and did not find any spot next to lake where u can do camping , no camping allowed next to lake or picnic due to this water is the main source for near population

    @@irfanspace Okay we went about half a mile down the road and saw nothing but straight drops. Maybe we just didn't go far enough. Will try again at some point. And do you think the drive is doable without an off-road vehicle?

  • @irfanspace
    @irfanspace3 жыл бұрын

    @@TheProductofFallout when you take turn from US Rote 33 to Switzer lake , half mile or less you will see the board which indicate Switzer lake you make a left turn and go towards lake side area , and if you go straight on Switzer lake rd , up to 2 miles its Gravel road after that completely off-road and rocks , you can not go without off-road vehicle but to 2 miles yes you can go by any SUV but on your own risk , towards Lake , i saw someone was driving a Car . thats all i know .

    trust me i have no idea , i am new to this field , Peter Mill Run Tail is absolutely not for Subaru Forester and according to Internet this consider entry level trail which is not , if u really want to enjoy fun ,go to beach where u can drive make sure u have Max-trax , Virginia sucks too many rules and BS trails

    @@galacticwyvern9164 HAHA! Yeah Peters Mill is barely a "trail" and you most definitely could have fun in a Subaru. Couple of spots where you might need to go real slow and easy and pick your line carefully but for the most part you shouldn't have a problem.

  • @JDS-Dalton

    Your forester would handle this trail just fine. I've got a forester myself, and aside from AT's in the stock size, it's completely stock, and I've taken it on worse trails than this. Just like Smell N Roses said, pick your lines carefully in some spots, and you won't have an issue. I'd be more worried about scratching the paint in some of the tight spots.
