We just bought a 2016 Nissan Leaf & the dealer gave us the credit up front & took it off the sale price. Basically you sign the credit over to the dealer & he deducts the credit from the purchase price. My question is do I have to do anything with the IRS at Tax time or am I done? Are there any forms I have to fill out when I file my 2024 taxes?

Oil will not last forever, or for even another decade. People understand that the sooner we stop burning oil/gasoline for non important things, like personal vehicles, the better. A failure to recognize how dire the availability of future gasoline will be is everyone's weakness.

On my key fob, which is the same, I can’t open the small door it is frozen where you insert the screwdriver to lift it. Even sprayed a small amount silicone to loosen it and that worked on one fob by not the other.

Yes in my ICE car I normally have to turn off the engine, exit the car, lock it, then enter again, turn on the car just to switch from reverse to first gear. This feature alone makes me wanna switch to Tesla
Shifting gears in an ICE car is such a hassle! 😜
First of all, Teslas don't have transmissions or engines. They have a single speed gear reduction directly driven by an electric motor (or two, depending on trim) which is bidirectional. Also, shifting between drive and reverse while in motion has always been possible with ICE vehicles. Some do it smoother than others, but don't pretend this is somehow only a Tesla thing.

Really really handy for winter driving! Could only do this with a standard if you were stuck in snow or ice. Love to see a Tesla can manage this transition quickly!

Not a big surprise given that - 1. New EV prices have come down and will continue to come down. 2. It is still early days for EVs and new EVs are much better than older EVs while ICE vehicles have a much slower rate of improvement year on year. 3. The used EV market is still developing . 4. It is not easy for a perspective used EV purchaser to determine the condition of the battery in a used EV. Not an issue if you are not planning on selling your EV quickly but plan to keep it for , say, 10 years or more.
