I've lived in corona my whole life, about 40yrs. Back in the day it was a nice, small quiet farm town. I mean you could see chickens and cows walking down 6th st. Now, its still pretty nice, but it's rundown: alot of Homelessness, stupid traffic, and still very expensive. But overall, yes, it's still a pretty good town but it's on its way to becoming Pomona very rapidly.
40 years.. I bet you've seen a lot of change in Corona
I’ve been living here in south ridge in Fontana since 1996, back then there was no heavy traffic and no big semi trucks everywhere until our mayor went crazy approving the building of warehouses everywhere, sure Fontana gets hot for 2 months, but it’s better than living around a bunch of lazy bums, and homeless people, and unless you’re rich and live by the beach LA is good, if not you’re stuck in a small house that’s old , in south ridge I have home that I bought brand new and has plenty of room, so there’s pros and cons, at the end of the day people buy whatever they can afford, 👊🏽🤞🏽
I couldn't have said it any better 😀
Hey Jose I have a question do you know why Fontana has area run by the county and the other is city. I also notice where it’s run by the county it’s less developed. If you know the history of that question would love to see a video of that. Thank you
Unfortunately I do not know why that is. But you're right, the areas not run by the city are not as developed. However that's not unique to Fontana there are other cities that have similar circumstances.
Are you looking at Fontana as a possible destination to move to?
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor I live here already. Just was wondering if you knew. Thank you tho. Really like watching your videos.
@@nesco7615 thanks I appreciate you watching 😀
Great video! Etiwanda School District is the top performing elementary district in San Bernardino County!
I agree, Etiwanda schools consistently rank pretty high.
I use to stay 1936 North omalley way in the 70s and 80s
Nice 😀 That's definitely still a nice a really nice area. Are you still local or did you end up leaving the area entirely?
You sold us our home here 6 yrs ago. We were happy til it started changing last year. The house is great! And we have some hefty equity gained. Just the economy has changed and families are piling up into one home. You forgot Morgan park… the highlight of the 4th of July.
I'm sorry to hear the neighborhood has changed. You're totally right.. I forgot to mention that
Anyone remember KKK rally’s in the 70’s in Fontana and near by Juruoa ??
❓
OMG Man. Oh... My... GOD. This video is 90 percent just you trying to see how much you can EMOTE and be a "personality guy", rather than just standing in front of the camera and RELAYING THE INFORMATION IN A CLEAR PROFESSIONAL MANNER. FFS, take a man-pill, get yourself an actual dress shirt and tie, and PRACTICE JUST talking like a real person, INSTEAD OF A SNARKY, ANNOYING PITCH MAN.
LoL I'll have to work on it.. thanks for watching though
you’re very hard to understand
That's a new one 🤔
I disagree with a couple of your points. I work alongside designers and architects. 1. New homes are DEFINITELY more expensive to build. More codes to comply to, wages are dramatically different than 30 years ago, and material costs are about 10X than 30 years ago. 2. New builds DO have lower quality materials in some cases, and higher in others. The young wood used for studs, joists, etc. is less dense and more sensitive. But shingles, for example, are better. Labor shortages created a market where every crack-head is hired as a construction worker, and while inspections are happening, they also don't have enough inspectors, and those also miss things. For example, houses getting foundation cracks after 2-3 years is not rare anymore, and it used to be. The inspector's can't really find that out from looking at the concrete. I always recommend my clients to get a house built no later than the early 90s, because that's where I see most of the issues, and more issues as the house is newer. An 80s house that has been completely renovated is much more robust than a 2020 house. Don't forget that even the bad build examples from the 70s, 80s, and 90s were either demolished, or already fixed. If you have a 6 years old house, YOU'LL be the one to pay for the problems that arise from bad practices. 3. "Upgrades" from the builder are scams. They charge more than hiring contractor that will demo what you want to upgrade and install the upgrade, even though the builder doesn't need to demo, and save on non-upgraded materials in the first place. My point is, builders these days are like flippers. They have no pride in the trade. They just want to slap everything together as fast as they can to make profit, and cut corners as often as possible.
I can't say I've heard from my clients having as many issues as yours with newer homes but I'm sure it happens. I do agree about the upgrades in quite a few cases to be an over charged convenience. Really appreciate your comment and the time you took to go deep into it.
As a resident of perris for 8 years I’ve noticed a lot of negative things. Our city council is the worst. With over 100 warehouses and 30 more approved (including a 2 million square foot warehouse right next to Railway Elementary) I can say the mayor doesn’t care about the communities health. People here go to Walmart, Rite Aid, and In N Out FOR FUN! Do you know how many times I had my neighbor tell me “Lets go to Stater Bros?” This city does not prioritize bicycle and pedestrian safety, and all our police force effort goes towards ticketing kids on ATV’s The buildings are falling apart, potholes, overgrown weeds, broken glass, homeless, and trash everywhere. Honestly who wants to move to perris? No one is gonna move in to those new houses for 500 grand, there’s nothing to do here for people my age
Sounds like you're ready to move on from Perris. If you did, where do you think you would rather go?
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor Definitely out of state, the internal problems in California are getting out of hand. It’s not just a local city government level, this is statewide. On top of that governor newsom has ruined California with record crime rates, absurd laws, and having the highest taxes & gas prices in the country. Thousands of employees have been laid off thanks to his $20 wage increase, and I’m not too far away since I only get 1 day a week, 3 hours a day! California should be a red state but SF, SD, & LA are all liberal cities that drag the rest of the state down.
It’s also said to be the location or at least one of them for the animated show .. rugrats
That's interesting.. I did not know that
I bought my home in the IE for 490,000 with pool and im 30 to 45 min to all lakes big bear n lake Arrowhead and close to casino. My home is about worth in LA $800,000. Im very excited with my beautiful home. Best decision ever.im originally from San Gabriel Valley ,near LA. The cities are growing and developing. Either i was going to move out of state to afford or sacrifice 1 hr away from family..
Nice.. I totally agree we are close to quite a bit here. I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and totally loved my childhood there but today the prices are just incredible. I'm glad to hear you've been happy here.
I left perris ca no work I move to the estate Alabama rent cheap i dont have to spent smog check in My veicle
Sorry to hear you were having trouble finding work but best of luck to you and your future in Alabama
The Inland Empire is nasty. All of the air pollution from L.A. blows in from the coast and sits on top of the valley, it's almost as hot as Palm Springs, and there are MILLIONS of people there. Really gross.
Doesn't L.A. typically rank among the top for bad air? You are right it gets hot here in the summer but Palm Springs? We don't hit 120°. Yes we have grown a lot in population but this is Southern California.. you're not going to escape people. By the way you do realize L.A. is double the population of the Inland Empire right? With all that said, you obviously you are not a fan of the I.E. where abouts do you call home?
The name sounds rich and fancy but the living conditions are harsh.
That's an interesting take.. never hear the name referred to as rich and fancy but there are parts of Fontana that have some pretty fancy homes. I'm guessing you aren't much of a fan of Fontana?
Love Rialto and the frisbie park!
I agree.. I feel Frisbie Park is a really cool park
No.. no crash is coming. The high prices are here to stay on everything. You'll all see for years to home. As more business close down the prices will go higher.
Definitely can't be good with all the businesses we've seen file bankruptcy recently
The crash will happen after the election, probably in the spring/summer of 2025. Lots of inventory locked up in short term rentals. Insurance and property taxes are rising. At some point many STRs will not be profitable and investors will dump these and migrate to stocks/bonds This flood of inventory will put downward pressure on the housing prices.
I don't know if I would go so far as to say a crash but I agree with you, with the rising cost for insurance at some point it certainly could cause home prices to decline to some degree.
what are your lowest rates
Sorry I'm a real estate agent not a loan officer. Are you looking to purchase a home or refinance? I may be able to refer you to one of my lenders to see what they can do.
I grew up there. 32 years, back before the 210 fwy even existed! I felt it was a great town to grow up in.
That was a couple years ago 😀 Do you still leave in the area?
Wow
I hope that's a good wow?
Talk about job hubs, commute time

A great place for hiking and mountain biking is Sycamore Canyon Park, the biggest trailhead is on Central Ave and Canyon Crest Drive.

Unfortunately every summer.. welcome to the IE right?
Don’t worry I’m on my way
Ok?
fontana forcefully closed down small business market hub today due to a "noise complaint." they really hate their small business community, would not recommend giving money to this city. ❌️
I'm sorry to hear that.. sounds like you currently live in Fontana then?
I'm going to guess that you are an Aquarius.

I mean come on.. how can you talk about Moreno Valley and not have the donkeys come up at least for a quick second? Obviously this isn't the first Moreno Valley video you've watched.. thinking of moving here or just scouting what others have to say about the city?
Is Temecula considered the IE?
I hear some people debate it because the IE doesn't have any technical boarders but I believe most people see Temecula as the south end of the IE. Is this where you live or considering moving to?
Is it safe or not frist of all safety is main concern
According to niche.com, Riverside gets average reviews for safety. Are you asking because you are thinking about moving to Riverside?
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor no I wanna to move to San jose as a immigrant don’t thinking of moving to riverside now and in future maybe
Is the UC Riverside campus area safe? Are there apartments for graduate students close to the university? Where can I get a listing? Just wondering. I think Riverside is one of the better cities in Cali. I've lived in San Jose for the past 12 years and I want out of here.
Based on the info I have the crime levels are low in the UC Riverside area however to get a better idea on the crime levels or to determine if it is safe for you, my recommendation would be to speak with the Riverside PD. They should be able to give a more clear answer to that area of the city. All I can say is that in general Riverside has an overall safety grade of C- according to niche.com. Are you planning to buy or rent once you do move to the area?
The campus is safe, however, the area surrounding is not. Then again the same can be said for USC.
@@stevodakine1 Thanks!
Well ucr campus is fine .My dad did a project there and he worked there for a while. While the campus is great the same cant be said about most the students. Most will be the best you have ever met and the rest dont even care about anything. And yes I believe there are homes for graduates they are close I believe if you have anyother questions ask me
Loma Linda is a blue zone because most of the population there are seventh day Adventists, and they adhere to a strict vegetarian diet, and are particularly compliant with rest and relaxation on the Sabbath and are really big on keeping ones health (no drinking, drugs, etc) and they offer retreats to members to nurture those who do become sick for some reason I'm not sure what it would be like to live there and not be an Adventist.....that would be weird. For instance, even their local bakers fast food restaurant has a vegetarian only menu. Stuff like that. Huge hospital and every medical facility you can think of ....cute area.
Interesting.. I knew someone would have an answer. Sounds like you didn't live there then?
I miss Temecula, but not the traffic!!
Temecula has grown a lot and unfortunately with that kind of growth comes with traffic
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtortrue…The traffic was bad already back in 2020 when we moved to the mountain…. Then the traffic followed us up there and you know the end of the story! Haha!!

It's CRAZY how the development has progressed in the Inland Empire. I remember when Ontario Airport was made of "portable office trailers" and now it's an International Airport with so many Amazon warehouses surrounding this new trading port, just like Long Beach. Great video and channel my friend :)
It really has grown a lot. That's funny though because I remember how small the airport once was too and now look at it. I appreciate you watching.

Bought a home in the Victoria neighborhood of Riverside near the California School of the Deaf and it’s great. Came from Brentwood CA and finally was able to work remote and decided to make the move away from Los Angeles. I’m originally from Claremont and never thought I’d move here in a million years but I honestly was wrong to judge it.
I agree Victoria is definitely a nice neighborhood here in Riverside. I have heard that more than once about being wrong to judge it here.
