I loved Colin McRae. Should definitely have been a multiple world champion. Having said all that he was reckless and criminal most likely in that helicopter crash that killed those poor kids. Seems to have been brushed over but he never should have been in the air.

It’s amazing at how todays drivers don’t do this, but when a guy like SVG comes over to race Indy today, it’s revolutionary. Rudd, Rusty, Gordon, and others could do this well.

Does anyone know what is the name of the gears used for these rally cars? (the one next to the steering wheel) I mean...rally pilots only can get them? LMAO, I want one of those in my Vw Sedan, and Im in a third-world country.

I started left foot braking before I even got my license, I was inspired by a video of Walter Rörll driving the Audi Quattro. As I own an automatic car (not by choice) I only brake with the left, doing it on manuals is even more fun combined with heal and toe.

Its funny...I have always used my left foot for braking...and anyone that sits in my passenger seat says "that's weird" You can't use gas and brakes at the same time with the same foot.

How do you do left foot braking and change gear? I dont drive but i thought u gotta hold the clutch in order to change gear right? Maybe its happening too fast for me to see

Their gearboxes are different, you only need to use the clutch to start off, or when doing tight turns. In a normal car, if you need to use brake while slowing down, use the heel & toe technique, where you use your right foot on both the brake and accelerator, which leaves your left foot for the clutch. After you have changed gear, go back to left foot braking.
