This episode is giving wrong moral values, the main sinner was the king who did not care about his people, because of which people became so poor that they were so desperate for money to the point that they wanted money at the cost of their lives. I would have killed pandit bandi,if I was ashtavakra,he is a murder of many poor scholars,well the main sinner is the king who supported pandit bandi in every wrong doing.If anyone is reading my comment and agree with me guys please don't take the wrong message from the story, i suspect the original story writer is talking about sita's father king janaka and spreading wrong info , as their is no such episode about king janaka in ramayan, that is the only place where janaka is mentioned.
