All about the cross stitch. Hello. Hoping this a good platform for cross stitch community/friends to join me for a good old natter on all things cross stitch. I look forward to getting to know you all better. Happy Stitching everyone
I have never done this method of cross stitch before. When first starting where in the pattern do you start? I always started in the middle. Thank you

I’m going to be starting my first full coverage piece and I’ve been a bit apprehensive about the whole process. But, your video makes a lot of sense to me and doesn’t seem so confusing. I do have a question about your stitching. I have watched this video very closely and it looks like you are stitching half stitches and not crossing them. Am I seeing this correctly? Thanks for your video, it’s been a big help.
@stefaniestaniak43293 ай бұрын
You are such a good fur baby mom. Oh the trials and tribulations we go through with our pets. But as you know, it’s so worth it. Hope they are all doing well now. Question, I’ve been watching closely at your stitching and are you doing only half stitches? I don’t see you doing the cross. If this is a correct observation, is it a half stitch because you are using a double thread? I’m new to this process of full coverage so I’m trying to understand the whole concept before I get started. Thank you for your videos - short and sweet and to the point. Love that.

I love EastEnders! I used to watch on public tv over here across the pond, and it was about three years behind what was current. Then EastEnders went away...now I watch Coronation Street on Hulu. Yesterday I stitched for the first time since before my surgery. It felt good, but it took me a while to talk myself into getting started again. Lately I've been bingeing on Gilmore Girls. Reminds me of my daughter and I when she was young...lol.

Sometimes I wonder what it is they see in things! You're making good progress on Mother of Dragon! What made you decide to do this one full cross vs tent stitch? Isn't Deep Blue Sea tent stitch? I've not tried tent stitch yet and would love to see examples side by side. Thanks for the video!

I like the way you started that new color! It seems like it helps to keep the tension more equal and you can really stitch it down close to the needle and waste less thread. With the loop method I always seemed to have uneven ends when I was done, and so I know the tension wasn't as even on both threads for all my stitches. However, both methods have their advantages - if you only have a few stitches of a color and you're going to park it anyways, you might as well do the loop. If you have lots of fill-in with one color then start out burying the end and use up the whole needle full until you end it. Thank you for these stitch with me videos at this time. I am just recovering from two surgeries and aren't allowed to stitch, so I'm living vicariously through you! 🙂🙃🙂 Ahhh! You're quoting Nietzsche! “You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” --> EXACTLY! ❤
