  this is my favorite group of finalist at tda ever. each girl actually danced and expressed emotion in their own way. before the top 10 improv became a showcase of just tricks.

  This solo competing against ANY of Maddie’s cheesy solos would shut Melissa right up 😂 Melissa was such a bitch to Brynn and completely insecure woman. She couldn’t stand the fact that her daughter was not the best dancer in the world, and Maddie would win rigged competitions. Shes a great performer but not as great a DANCER as Brynn. She could never do this solo. It’s just a fact.

  I have to dance Because i have a Dance Troup in My school in the Gym Said my miss in PE in my School only 12 members in my School Dance Troup 1:11 in Tursday and Fridayy in my school becaus me and Sofia And Katelyn is going to Dance in the Gym in my School🎉🎉🎉

  Does everyone else agree that this is the best time she ever did the solo? It was actually her second time doing it, but somehow better than her first!? She was so free and emotional here.

  I wonder how this performance, which, based on the dates, is the very first performance of this solo that she ever did, I wonder how the Las Vegas dance awards performance still remains the best, most free performance that she gave of this solo? Usually you would think that it’s the very first time she performs a solo that it would be so beautiful and free. I like this version but it felt a lot more controlled and subdued versus the freedom that she had at Las Vegas. It seems like Las Vegas was actually the second time she performed. This one doesn’t move me the same way.

  I can't believe the elite moms in Dance moms said Brynn wasn't that talented. She was amazing, winning TDA overall is a huge accomplishment not many can achieve.

  i know i’m far from alone in the opinion that this is easily brynn’s best solo, but i also think this is easily alexa’s best work as a choreographer. what a perfect showcase of brynn’s skills and sensibilities as a technician and a mover, through interesting individual mechanisms together forming a distinct movement vocabulary. her solid placement and control together with such airy and lively movement quality is just so striking. it’s not that “strong” or “fierce” “powerhouse” kinda movement quality you typically see in comp dancers, nor is it really derivative of the softness and fluidity of ballet either; we had never seen anything like this before in the comp world, and likely never will again. this is so many alternate universes away but i feel like it would’ve been so interesting if brynn at this time went to westside and worked with jessie riley, i bet she really could’ve honed that interesting balance brynn was working with. would love to see that quality explored more in alexa’s current work.

  Fun fact: In the episode jojo was competing against kendall Jojo placed 5th and brynn placed 3rd Meanwhile kendall placed 2nd so technically kendall beat brynn

  I always thought botched was her best solo and best choreography given to her. The fact that this is even before she was on dance moms and even the first half is way more difficult than botched and still beautiful, I’m shocked.

  I’m so glad that you found this solo and saw that Brynn was the most incredible child dancer in the industry long before Abi ever had her! She’s a true prodigy, and far better than anyone at the ALC, most people, even in the industry ass a whole can’t compete with the amount of emotion, grace, innocence, purity, but also technique, flexibility, and precision that she dances with. She’s incredible. This is one of the most iconic dances in the history of the competition industry.
