Think a guy 6’5 230 would have any stability issues standing and fishing with the U10 or should I suck it up and go bigger with the unlimited?

I dont belive so, Im 6'2" 275 lbs and this kayak is super stable for me. The bigger Unlimited would have a touch more stability and more cruising speed on the open water.

One of the things this vessel had going for it over those shallow rapids and submerged sandbars was its shallow draft. A kayak with a true keel would have been hung up at least 2-3 times on those submerged sand bars that the K-Craft went over in this video.

Thinking about getting this. I live on the gulf coast of FL so how’s paddling with this in currents? Because that’s what I worry about is fighting against currents and being more worn out than enjoying myself. I would love the pedal drive one but it’s just too expensive.

Paddling upstream and floating and fishing back down to the put-in, sometimes shallow rivers. Considering Jackson Bite, and crescent ck1 or lite tackle. I have been using canoes for years and hoping a kayak will be easier upstream. Will one paddle upstream easier, or one drag worse than the others?

CK1 has been my main rig since it came out. Like it so much I have two of them. Since adding a Primo I have spent a lot of time in that. Looking forward to a video with that little boat. Definitely took me some growing to get comfortable but everything I wasn’t super comfortable with initially is everything I love more about it. Obviously a smaller boat but has proven overly capable and has actually changed the way I paddle.
