  I like these short sweeteners, filling in the backgrounds of key characters. I think it is cool to have a dual threat fighter pilot/flight surgeon, with enemy kills and life saves tallied on their ship. That show real imagination.

  There are massive gaps in the story? Jason is on the derelict craft then all of a sudden he’s meeting his sister in the hanger back on argent? Is there context missing? Edit: again now another huge hole? they go from inspecting the new version of the strike fighter to suddenly being on the derelict ship under attack by someone? im so confused and it sucks as i really enjoy the story that makes sense.

  @@ShaneLochlannBlack I am hapoy to be a supporter. There is such a tremendous difference between human-authored stories and AI-generated drivel. As many other readers (listeners) on KZread note, the purple prose of almost all AI-generated content is full of cliche phrases such as: the indomitable will of the humans, [some virtuous behavior] shining as a beacon of hope, and my favorite: [some activity] serving as a testament to human strength/compassion/righteousness. If I hear any of these phrases more than once, I stop listening. I don’t understand how there are AI writers, but never AI editors. At the very least, why hasn’t AI been taught the basics of effective writing using The Elements of Style. Have a good weekend.

(scribble scribble) "indomitable will..." 🙂 The whole reason behind what I do is so I can write the stories I think will be fun and entertaining. The chance to improve craft is also compelling. I like to think my work improves over time and if that's true, I think it's worth putting in the work. You have a great weekend as well! I think you'll really enjoy Jacks or Better!
