TO KNOW AND RESPECT WHAT HAS COME BEFORE
This channel is for old dancing home videos transferred from VHS tapes. Whilst I started with having all forms of dance on this channel the Latin and Ballroom tapes have taken over. So to make things easier I have created a separate group (www.youtube.com/@SAoldDancingVideos) to focus on other forms of dance as well as more specialised South African dance videos and leave this channel more dedicated to the wonderful world of Latin and Ballroom.
If you have any old VHS tapes with dancing on please get in touch. I am happy to convert them for you for free. It is a shame that so many dancers are forgotten as they danced before the internet was around.

PS occasionally you may find some videos that are poor quality or poor sound, remember some of the videos they have been transferred from are incredibly old. I always reupload better quality videos of them if I find them .

So schönes Tanzen, viel ästhetischer als heutzutage! Die Kommentare der Sportmoderatorin sind immer wieder ziemlich lustig ;-) Unglaublich schade dass Ballroom aus dem öffentlich-rechtlichen Fernsehprogramm verschwunden ist. Als Kind habe ich das mit meinen Eltern im dritten Programm gesehen, es war toll.
