Nice video, that ticking noise you can really hear at 7.26 & 7.50 near idle, is that normal or is it viscous fan or injector like noise? Our TDV6 D4 makes the same noise but both my 3.0TD & 2.8TD Hilux's doesn't.

We were then in May this year (2023) and have already booked our next trip over. The half day tour and the Fish Fry are definitely must-do's, even if you don't do any other tours. My one regret when we were there was that on the couple of foggy days we had, I didn't think to go and photograph the fig trees. Hopefully we'll have some inclement weather in February. 😀

This is an awesome representation from a visitor perspective and I thank you for sharing your visit to the world [Love Heart] . This is my home (or should I say our home) and we know what we have and what we have to offer, but it is not always what the visitor wants in a holiday. So this and I encourage others to film and share, so that Norfolk Island can review and gauge what we are doing right or wrong. We always will strive to deliver, with what is humanly in our control. So sorry about the weather and so glad you got some sunny days...there have been some who would say they are going to complain when they get home as the agent did not tell them that it rains on Norfolk Island...this is a true fact given my wife is in a retail shop and she told me when she got home... "you wouldn't believe what this lady said to me today!!!" Thank you for an awesome clip and I am so humbled by your commentary and your sharing of my/our home. Norfolk Island will always be here thick or thin. We do rely on the visitor to keep Norfolk Island alive as destination. I believe in the product we have, but I am biased because I live here... If you are booking a holiday to Norfolk Island or anywhere in the world please keep in mind you are booking to experience something different to what you are used to...if you want the holiday to be like home...do not travel anywhere. Be ready to embrace the culture of the country you visit.
