Thanks for watching. I use GC2 with HMT. This is by far the best value for your money IMO. Used to have OG ST, but was unreliable with chipping and putting. I also didn't like having to pay for a subscription, my GC2, I don't have that stuff.
Is the GC2 natively compatible with TGC 2019 out of the box?
No, sir. Wish it was. You need to get links from the company to download the software interface.
Im getting different messages saying the gc2 isnt compatible with tgc 2019, some say it is? can you clairfy?
Its compatible. It requires an interface thats all.
Did you cut out the front of your cage? Was that hindering your pickups?
No. Its stock. No changes.
One of Skytrak's biggest problems is reflection/glare. I had it in my basement hitting into a screen but my screen display was a 50" plasma TV (really bright) located directly behind the Skytrak. I got constant misreads/no hits. I turned the brightness & contrast way down and the unit had no issues (although I could barely see the screen!). The unit also worked fine when connected to a 24" LCD monitor as the brightness was a lot less than the TV. Also, if you have a ball tray in front of you, don't keep a whole bunch of white balls in front of the unit. Light reflection off the balls was causing the Skytrak to not read any shots. When hitting irons, I never bother with the logo facing the unit because they all get picked up. I get the odd misread (1 in 25 maybe).

Don't believe you can do one with a random golfer. There is online play, but you won't need to hook up with someone ahead of time. I have seen people planning out rounds on Discord. You may want to try there.
@@DreamGolf Do you know if you can play against ghosts? With TGC 19 we normally play2 v 2 fourball against ghosts. Hopefully its possible with GSPRO?

I just setup Skytrak with GS Pro open AI and my peak height is 3-5... everything is low regardless of using a driver or SW etc. Is it a leveling issue or something else?
Is this just with GSPRO or do you have the same problem on the skytrak app as well?

hi im having problems with the Protee interface wont stay running ..starts up then closes immediately..wondering if your running windows 10 or 11 ..im on 11 and no go so far..thanks

Please help! When I run the tool, it goes through visualizing the LiDAR data, then adding golf features, then the window pops up where the two images are supposed to be only neither of the images is there. Flipping back to the main window, it has gone through the part where it pulled the OSM data, then it stopped after trying to get the mapquest api data saying it could not get sat preview http error 401 unauthorized. I checked everything about my pc and my internet and it’s all great. My firewall is turned off. Please help!!

Typically, once your set it, every time it reloads it disappears. Do your shots register on GSPRO?
I get the red dot to hit but it doesn’t register a shot.
This is regarding the part where I export the osm data. One of my local golf clubs has two courses. I only want to use one of them. All of the features are already marked as to which of the courses they belong. Using the rectangular shape to show what I want exported, it shows some of the fairways, etc, from the other course. Is there a way for me to exclude that stuff from the export?

Thanks! I use OBS and a logitech screen cam. I used to use my phone to film myself, but it was very labor intensive syncing up my video with the screen video.
I’m just now beginning my research into designing a course with LiDAR. When it comes to downloading the laz/las files into a folder, can the folder be named anything I want? Does the folder need to be in a specific location on my pc?

I'm trying to map out my home course but I keep running into same error - I add a few holes and then attempt to save but get "Errors occurred while trying to save Upload has been blocked due to rate limiting. Please try again later." Server returned status code 429 - - how do I avoid this? It seems to be a frequency thing. So doing less and saving more often you run into it more - but doing more and saving less could yield lost work due to various issues. forgetting, running into too many edits to save at one time, lost internet connection, etc.

Does this restore all players or just the first (account holder) player? I still can't believe that there is no locally stored temporary file used to back up ALL players during a game! (This is basic programming 101) 🤔
Not sure, Ted. I don't think it impacts online play, but honestly i never played online with anyone. Also,, its been a while since I had a ST. I use a GC2 and never get connection loss anymore.
To play TGC do you have to have the Skytrak app open? Or does the Skytrak app need to be closed?

sure this is great for a band aid but if we could get a resolution for WHY it does this that would be fantastic. i can barely play mine any more. no one seems to have any real solutions.
Try using an ACTIVE USB cable that has sufficient specs to ensure you don't get data drops between your computer and LM. Sometimes when you use a long USB cable, it can have data drops. Also, you can also get cheap USB cable which should only be used for charging and not data. Hope this helps.

I am unable to connect my GC2 with HMT to GSPro, any tips or secrets to get that to happen?
Make sure your device is on before starting GSPRO. MAKE sure you are connected via Bluetooth and not USB. Make sure you selected the correct interface when the options pop up.
How do I locate the course I built in my PC? I built the starter blank course in TGC program and went into my PC drives and cannot locate any folders or applications affiliated with TGC 2019 nor can I find the file that should have been created for the course I built in TGC2019.

@lanemart_editz GSP is definitely the future. I understand it's more involved. They have a subchannel on Discord where they beta test them and you get feedback from other users. Good luck!

No. They only work on TGC2019.

Im looking at a new skytrak as they have dropped to $1049 on 2ndswing. Seeing as GC2s and pretty much double that used, can you tell me how much they differ in your experience?
Skytrak is great but with a GC2, you'll never question what you see on the screen PLUS you can purchase the HMT later and get FULL club head data (better than GC3). Integration with GSPRO is seamless. No need for integration software. I also felt that chipping and putting on SKYTRAK was less reliable than GC2. Driving and irons were fine.
The screen supports multi finger touching. Did you try swiping with multiple fingers on TGC?
No, I didn't. I used it as point and click like I would on the PC.
I’m thinking about buying a GC2 with HMT I heard he will provide better ball data than the GC 3 with one dot. I heard it is comparable to the data you will get out of a quad. My dilemma is I cannot afford a quad. and the GC2 is outdated now but I hear it’s still a very good unit with HMT. Any feedback would be very helpful. Thank you
The GC2 w HMT is fine. Just make sure you get extra flashes and a newer serial numbered unit. I've had mine for over a year and I cannot image not having the club face data. It is very helpful for improving your ball striking. I've used one dot data and I feel it just lacks the data I need. Its still expensive but you don't need to buy any subscription for GSPRO and you can get a demo version of FR1 on ebay that provides fitting data to compare clubs, etc.

With the latest version of GSPRO, accessing the advanced screen (club head/club path graphjcs) should be on the device selection screen at the button...I believe. I'll check and verify. More importantly, I'll try and get an updated video showing this function in a two screen application.
Thanks for manking this video as took the leap and bought a gaming desktop - a couple of questions please - ONE: do i NEED a paid subscription with SKyTrak to access my GS Pro subscription? If so can I get the Basic one? TWO: my screen looks about your dimensions 8x8? If so as you my target line as a righty is only 2 1/2 from right edge - how did you compensate for this, was it in the SETTINGS (within Skytrak driving range and adjusting the alignment there) ? Thanks for watching. I am not sure if you can get away with just basic. I have heard you can but when I had my ST, I subscribed to the Performance Improvement Plan (believe that is what it was). I'd just try it with basic and see. Whats to lose? As far as being lined up to the right of center, I don't focus on the image on the screen when hitting. I just aim straight ahead (2-1/2' from the right) and hit. I have a piece of Black tape on my mat to help keep my line. You can offset the right, but I personally don't like it. GSPRO has settings to offset it if the is how you want it to look.
