How would you compare the level of control and the level of difficulty between RC3 in sport mode vs RC3 in full manual?
@camperanddroneguy9 күн бұрын
Hi, That's a very difficult question but I'll give you my opinion as someone that's still learning. I will default to full manual when in open spaces as you do have a lot more control, if you had been cruising through the trees with the RC3 you would have had a lot more 'banking' happening with the footage for example, you can take that out in manual. When I'm looking for more cinematic, slow footage and in dangerous places, over rivers and through dense branches I'll revert back to the motion controller. Difficulty, without question in manual, but that's only time and practice. Suppose for me, I don't use the RC3 in Normal or Sport as your basically flying a typical drone (stick movements) and you need to lose the muscle memory of those stick inputs. I'll always use both controllers motion and RC depending on where I am and what I'm recording - They both have there place. Not sure if that answers well enough for you?
@DFD19 күн бұрын
@@camperanddroneguy Well thank you Carl for giving a try with the answer. I've been flying mini 3 pro for about a year and then got the Avata2 as my first FPV drone. FPV is way more fun and gives much more options in tight spaces. Motion controller was super easy and surprisingly capable at first. Then I tried RC3 and it was much better in terms of control, especially with yaw/tilt/roll movements. Now I feel like I am comfortable flying the Avata2 everywhere with RC3 in Sport mode. And since I use the Avata2 to capture some interesting close shots and fly-by's but rather cinematic and not super fast, I am now wondering if the manual mode will be worth it for that kind of usage. Not just in terms of time and the learning curve, but also the additional risk that comes with full manual mode.

MC3 is great for all beginners and even later for casual flying and exploring. If you want much better control over the Avata2 and less shaky footage, you need the RC3. Tried and tested.
